How exactly did the Eagles get an A lol.

They lost a starting OL and their best DL - not to mention the other pieces that walked on the defensive side of the ball (not that they were that good anyway).

Sadder than the day my wife broke a heel off her favorite shoes.

Just reading the top 2 lets me know this is a troll work

Cowboys at a D? how? they attacked their weaknesses drafted a DT, bought in Gilmore, you can make an argument guard is needed however we have good rotational linemen..

Commanders at an F? They're pretty inbetween a rebuild and a winning the division based on what Howell does....they didnt give Chase a 5th year which was smart giving the injuries, they picked up a ballhawk corner in the draft, re-signed Da'ron payne at worst theyre having an uneventful offseason maybe a C at best

Eagles at an A? bro? they lost dang near an entire defense but lets give them an A

We really failed at what should have been the #1 priority. Which was to help the QB.
So Cooks is trash. A second year and completely healthy Gallup. Got rid of 21 which most of you wanted and brought back 20 so what did yall want lol?

Draft grades are now, and always have been, completely asinine. It's impossible to know at this point how any of the drafted players will work out, even the ones who are supposedly sure things. We'll know how well teams did in the 2023 draft in about three to five years. I'm sure in 1998 some Charger fan was saying, "All right, we got Ryan Leaf, one of the best quarterbacks available in the draft in years."

I think the team has been improved by the moves and draft picks/udfa's. This will be an overall tougher team than last year. Several games the D couldn't stop the run, couldn't get off the field late in games to give the offense the ball back. Also, the times they were able to do that, the offense went 3 and out which was also really bad.

Most if not all the guys they have brought in to the team through the acquisition processes are considered tough players. Hopefully that correlates to both of the issues mentioned above happening much less in the upcoming season. Plus, after about week 5 or 6 the defense had to stop playing the way they wanted to because the interior DL wasn't stopping the run as well as they needed to. Hence, the addition of Hankins, which everyone has to admit helped in that department but Mazi should help even more in the run stopping department. Also, they have added a TE that blocks 100% better than Shultz without ever taking a NFL snap. The possibility of moving Steele (perhaps our best run blocker) inside to LG should help the running game and short yardage situations. An Online of Smith Steele Biadaz Martin Smith is a possibility that JJ has alluded to just before the draft. Adding another 1000 yd WR, adding a CB that was once regarded as the best in the NFL (who had really good season last year) are all additions that have improved the team.

Do they need to add another RB, maybe, a short yardage guy, perhaps, but they are shaping up to look like a really good strong team. Add in the fact that there is no tape on the current offense for other teams to scout, that should prove to be another advantage they have given themselves, at least to start the year.

So I see this as an improved squad that was already quite good.
