Both team took huge punches and came back from them. Punches the Cowboys would have been knocked out from. Congrats to the Steelers. You aren't America's team but you are the best team. It would be awesome to see what character would emerge if we cut the bad apples of the Cowboy bunch. I go down with the Cowboy ship all day every time but I am damn jealous right now.

No. Help from zebras do it for the Stealers. - Just another stolen SB.

Big Ben's Two(2) rings were "stolen" by the refs.

Eli's title last year was "lucky" & he didn't deserve it.

Yet our golden boy is sitting at home eating Doritos with

Yes all that character like when Harrison was punching a player on the ground.

Did Santonio Holmes develop his great character before or after he made that great catch?

Talk about grasping at straws.

They sure don't have the issues the Cowboys do. I haven't heard much bad press from their players. They seem to have great team unity.

Try reading this... and ask about team unity.

Ben Roethlisberger likes tall guys; Hines Ward no longer likes Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger recently expressed a desire for the Steelers to acquire a tall receiver, which, at least to me, doesn't sound like an unreasonable request. As it turns out, though, it made Hines Ward so mad that he's vowed to never again taste Big Ben's Beef Jerky.

In Ben's defense, he didn't make the request in any kind of a way that was disparaging to the Steelers current receivers. In fact, he went out of his way to make the point that he liked them:

"I'm always going to ask for a tall receiver," Roethlisberger said in an interview with the Post-Gazette. "That's just me. Our receivers are unbelievable, but our tallest guy might be Hines. Or Santonio [Holmes]. Hines is going to say he's 6 foot, but he's 5-11."

That doesn't sound so inflammatory. But here are some of the things that Hines told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in response:

"I don't hear Tom Brady or Peyton Manning asking for that."

"I don't know, whatever he says. I have no idea. To me, it's a rare combination of receivers out there who are good and tall. We won a Super Bowl, we didn't have a tall receiver then. I don't see Tom Brady caring about who's tall or not. He got Randy this year, but he did it before without him.''

"To me, I have enough problems to worry about than what Ben wants -- I can't give him the contract. He wants a tall receiver? Why did we draft Santonio [Holmes]?"

Uh-oh ... someone's got a little man complex. That seems like a gross overreaction to an innocuous statement about a preference for a receiver with some height.

I'll say this for Ben, too: When he did play alongside Plaxico Burress with the Steelers, Plax made a ton of plays for him. Any time Ben got in trouble, he'd scramble, and it seemed like he always ended up looking for Plax downfield. They made a lot of plays that way.

Not that I don't enjoy the public sniping, but I think Hines is just going to have to get over this one. I think it's obvious, judging from the number of times that Rothelisberger throws Ward's way, that Roethlisberger likes him and thinks he's a good receiver.

So Ben likes tall guys ... so what? that doesn't mean you aren't special in your own way, Hines. It's not you, it's Ben. It's about what he's going through right now. At this point in his life, he just wants to be with someone who doesn't have to sit on seven phone books to be able to drive. I'm sure you two can still be friends.

Yep, if it was Cowboys, Antonio Holmes getting caught with Marijuana or at least Allegedly with Marijuana would have been brought up and and up again.

But one thing though, Mike Tomlin, took control of the situation and sat Him down for a game. Thats the difference. Also, when Willie Parker, talked to the media about Stealers needing to run ball more, Tomlin immediately set him straight by showing him 5 Trophies and asking whats more important?

Constrast that by what Jerry and Wade did when TO and his Best Buddy Deion did that interview? Thats why Stealers don't get bad press. Since players stay in line. And they are not the glamor team either.

How much of a bitter Cowboys fan are you when you have to post an article over a year old? The 2008 season hadn't even started when that article was written .

The fact of the matter is the Steelers played as a "team" when it mattered and just won another NFL Championship.

Doesn't sound to me like that's staying in line.
But it does sound like Tomlin is quicker to react and address players.

Reading this it sounds like Holmes should ahve receive4d far more than a 1 game suspension as he was arrested and charged.

Pittsburgh police charged Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes with possession of marijuana Thursday afternoon.

According to police, Holmes was driving a sport utility vehicle with out-of-state license plates near Mellon Arena. The vehicle matched the description of one linked to a crime, so officers made an investigatory stop.

“When they pulled him over, they found there was a smell of burnt marijuana in the vehicle,” said Sgt. James Vogel of the Pittsburgh Police Department. “Mr. Holmes was very cooperative with officers and turned over some items to us and was subsequently summoned for those items. A couple of marijuana blunts.”

Police said Holmes turned over three marijuana cigars. Officers charged Holmes with one misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was given a summons to court and released.

Vogel said Holmes was very cooperative, respectful and wasn’t impaired. He thinks that should be taken into account when it comes to any potential action taken against him by the Steelers and the NFL.

In the 3rd quarter I almost blew a gasket when the refs kept giving the Steelers a chance to keep that drive alive.

But honestly, they made the right call in the video review early in the game. They correctly called the hold in the end zone after the HUGE conversion the Steelers would have picked up.

I would like to know how there was no review at the end of the game. That was not a fumble...and I'm not saying AZ would have scored. BUt hthey should have had another shot, plus the personal foul on Harrison.

ROFL. That was part of the off-seaosn leading to this one, yet both players somehow managed to live without that team unity thing and play today.

I truly am shocked because a WR and QB disagreeing really should mean the team just loses every game they play right?

There are a number of issues the Steelers have had this year and it didn't matter because they had a very good football team, not because they were so strong of character.

And the very definition of bitter is someone so self-loathing they can't even face reality that puts their own self in a better light.
The Cowboys not winning a Super Bowl this year was not the end of the world Mike Green and it doesn't mean you should curl up and die. Breathe man breathe, it is going to be OK.
