Good news - Pittsburgh offense is pretty lousy. The Ravens can best them.

But yes - Pittsburgh should be the penultimate enemy of every Cowboys fan. I will be rooting for a Eagles/Cardinals victory anyways over the AFC, but against the Steelers I am make a ritual offering of burnt entrails to the football Gods.

The Chargers sucked today. They couldnt do anything offensively beyond that first drive. Defensively, they got warn down.

OMG THE HOLDING ON THAT LAST PLAY. PASS INTERFERENCE!?!? WHAT ABOUT THE HOLD ON 68!?!

Yep. I saw the same hold. But needed to vent on how stupid the pass interference rule is.

Considering how you don't understand simple logic, I see how you would consider it dumb.

Ok, Mr. Circular reasoning. You've used the logical fallacy multiple times and you're telling me I don't understand simple logic. Go back to school.

First, I used "calls" in quotation marks, which means I'm not using it the way it is literally used.

Oh, I get it. So, you used it in a way that only you know, because everyone knows that calls in quotation marks means "this is according to the understanding of tyke1doe".

Second, since you lack understanding, what I'm saying that all good teams appear to benefit from the refs. But that may be more a product of those teams being good than the refs "calling" penalties in their favor.

No, they don't appear to benefit from the refs. A penalty should be called when the rule states it should be. That's why they have rule books, and that's what the refs should follow. People aren't dumb and can see when one occurs and the refs don't call it.

Whining about the refs is just another way to detract from a team's superiority.

Nobody is whining about them. Just pointing out obvious bias.

Agree, but I wasn't referring to that.

Their punter sucks so bad, that in two games (against us and today) he under-kicks so bad that it hits a blocker in the head.

Only the lucky as heck Steelers get that kind of mess.

They also late hit all the time without getting called.

Again, makes me sick.

Amazing what a franchise can do with a successful owner who hires competent coaches and then gets out of the way.

I really really hate the NFL rule for pass interference. You can get a 45 yard penalty for a ticky tack call but only 15 yards for only any personal foul penalty that could be more dangerous.

i dont like it too. it gives qbs incentives to throw clunkers out there just for the hope to get that call. for those that weren't really good passes in the first place.

they should just change it to a 15-yard penalty.

true and even when the Steelers had his arm locked in on Jackson's arm on the TD, nothing was called, tsk tsk

Dude.

Really.

This game is not a bad call away from being a victory for San Diego. Not even two. You make your own luck. You toss the pick, get a punt dropped on your head, or don't cover a punt and get it returned for a TD, or can't get the other team off the field for an entire friggin quarter - don't play the zebra card.

The horrible part of looking at that drive is the Chargers were actually throwing the ball well against the Steelers, but penalties and some freak turnovers killed any chance of this being a game.
