Ok, Mr. Circular reasoning. You've used the logical fallacy multiple times and you're telling me I don't understand simple logic. Go back to school.
You wouldn't know a logical fallacy if it kissed you in the mouth.
Then again, a person who argues that those close to a situation are less of an expert than those farther away wouldn't.
Oh, I get it. So, you used it in a way that only you know, because everyone knows that calls in quotation marks means "this is according to the understanding of tyke1doe".
No, it's simple English language. A "quotation mark" can be used to highlight a word or call attention to a particular word. If you went to school you would know this.

Another important use of quotation marks is to indicate or call attention to ironic or apologetic words. Ironic quotation marks can also be called scare, sneer, shock, distance or horror quotes. Ironic quotation marks are sometimes gestured in oral speech using air quotes:
My brother claimed he was “too busy” to help me.
Quotation marks indicating ironic use of a term should be used with care. Without the intonational cues of speech, they can obscure the writer’s intended meaning. They can also be confused easily with direct quotations, so some style guides specify single quotation marks for this usage, and double quotation marks for verbatim speech.
No, they don't appear to benefit from the refs. A penalty should be called when the rule states it should be. That's why they have rule books, and that's what the refs should follow. People aren't dumb and can see when one occurs and the refs don't call it.
Yes, because you Mr. "I'm More of An Expert From My Living Room Couch" know more about the game than the referees.
First, as any player who has
PLAYED the game will tell you, a ref could call holding on every play. A ref has to use his judgment on a particular play.
Maybe what you think is holding isn't holding. But, of course, you have a better view of that from your living room than the refs on the field.
Second, people see what they want to see. You don't like the Steelers, and so you whine about refs not calling penalties. It's a poor rationalization. The Steelers are good. They whipped the Cowboys. They whipped the Chargers.
Just accept it and stop whining.
Nobody is whining about them. Just pointing out obvious bias.
:laugh2:
Yes, because we know all of those complaining are seeing things objectively.
