Sure it did. Their defense was piss poor last season. The difference from year to year was amazing. You think Cottrell would have been yanked in half a season if he'd had a good season in '07? No way.

as if the Cowboys D did Garrett any favors..........what if Cowboys D held Pitt at the end? what about the back to back 75 yrd runs against Ravens?
Newman being made Moss' B**** against Commanders we lost by 2, what about letting Rams hang 34 on us, not to mention the first game against Philly where Garretts O had to score 41 to beat the eagles the D allowed to svore 37 in our house.............so i wouldnt be to quick to say the D was our strength

The Cowboys defense played great after Wade took over the defense which was after the St. Louis game. We had over 30 sacks in the last several weeks and our secondary played better as well. However our offense didn't help them out especially in the Ravens game by continuing to go 3 and out the majority of the game. The defense was tired late in the 4th quarter since they were on the field all game long. The offense was more of a problem than the defense. Let's not forget what Newman did to Moss in the 2nd game.

yes that is how you sound........the offense completely carried this team in 2007 and carried the team the first 3 games of the season this year ...then with the offense struggling ..... lost 4 out of 6 no Defensive help at all...then when we get Romo back we win 3 straight.....then when we got into Defensive battles our D couldnt make the big plays to keep us in it....so when our O doesnt win the game we lose ....this is an offensive team...dont be confused about about us having great D ,,its just not so......they can push some teams around but when they are pushed back they fold
