It has nothing to do with calling out Watkins and everything to do with thinking that a rookie 5th round pick is going to show his full potential in his first year. If he plays great, then yeah, it's obvious he's a keeper, but if he plays subpar, giving up on him after year one and drafting a replacement is beyond idiotic. Since when does drafting someone automatically preclude another player from continuing to play or perform his job. Have you ever heard of depth? I believe i also mentioned something about versatility, a trait that many football coaches find benefitial.

I don't recall anyone saying he was better than Watkins. All that wa said was that i'd take him in the draft. Now, if he's going in the first or second round, then forget it, we have more pressing issues. That doesn't mean that at some point in the draft we aren't a good enough team that we can draft the BPA, and if that were the case with Zbikowski, i'd love to have him.

No, because 1: So-so would be far better than anything we've had at FS since Woody left and 2: Again, we have too many needs on offense. We are getting old on that side of the ball, especially at WR and O-Line.
