The Patriots putting together 22 defenses that averaged a ranking of 7th over two plus decades is impressive.

This is why I chuckle at those that say BB is a product of Brady.

Also look at the state of the OL. They basically had the same OL coach got close to 20 years. Both Ernie Adams and Dante Scarnecchia retired around the same time Brady left. They were BB right hand men.

The defense even held the 49ers to a FG after the horrible throw by Dak to Gallup. This year they didn’t hold after the same bone-headed type of pick by Dak to Cooks, but hey.. in thise cases it was the WRs fault and this year Cooks and the defense..

The defense can't hold them to zero, the 49ers were a top ranked offense last season and ANYBODY would love taken 19 points, but Daks fans need a defense that holds the opponent to zero points apparently. Anyone who blames last playoff loss on the D has no idea what they are talking about

This is absolute proof how statistics can be used to strengthen haters hate and at the same time show their ignorance. If you can’t stop the run defensively, and the Cowboys can’t and havent, then your defense sucks.

Obviously, a ton of mental gymnastics involved in using a regular season stat for the defense while saying the QB sucks because he isn't good in the playoffs.

Dak had a higher PLAYOFF passer rating than Brock Purdy.
Dak is imperfect and has some obvious areas to improve in, but it is really hard to take fans who bad mouth him seriously when they have no real data or intelligent discussion to offer just utter nonsense or complete mistruths.

Defense shut down CMC and basically everyone on SF, one big play to kittle and one TD given up late, guess that means they suck. In todays crazy offense-favored world, thats good. Then keep in mind they had to deal with two turnovers with one being in the redzone they held them to a fg on both.

how was his real data at halftime? Im sure he was really great in the 4th when the game was down multiple scores, but at least somehow he did something as opposed to the defense that game.

Defense **** the bed but they had injuries to their top 2 CBs, and no LBers left, look how the niners looked when Greenlaw got injured his replacement gave up 9/9 catches and 139 passer rating
