The Cowboys really had no one with that official title. Stephen Brown was the "offensive assistant" who supposedly was Garrett's helper in day-to-day operations and also helped with the run game.

Kind of surprised that so many here do not know what a Quality Control Coach is or how important they are. I made a long post back when Linehan was still here about the FACT that we didn't have them and that none of the Garrett, Linehan, Moore combo had EVER been a QC coach.

Ben Bloom was our last QC coach on Defense, but he also split time as a LB coach. As stated above, O'Quinn was our last Offensive QC coach.

There was a point several years ago where I realized a lot of teams had a "quality control coach", and I had the same reaction. I had no idea what they did, s i looked it up, and as I recall they are primarily entry level coaches who are charged with reviewing and analyzing game film and coming up with a statistical analysis of what other teams do in different situations.

Come on now the guy hasn't even coach the game yet LOL I did see a meme the other day someone sent me on Facebook it was an old one where Eli and Daniel Jones are sitting on the sidelines and Eli was looking at the Microsoft pad Daniel Jones had his head in his arms and he says this is a play Jason Garrett Drew up Jones says what play and Eli goes I don't know it just shows Jason Garrett clapping and Eli says I'm out I'm retiring
