Chaz Green had a terrible game but he was hardly the only reason for his loss. The entire OL played poorly, even Martin got beat several times. Green was awful but he isn't a LT and was given no help, plus Atlanta has an excellent team.

I didn't think Dallas would win, his was a high mountain to climb to begin with, playing a Super Bowl on the road that has an MVP QB. But then Zeke was suspended. Then we lost Tyron, then we lost Sean Lee.

It didn't help that you could run Green's play on a loop while playing the Bennie Hill music, but it wasn't the fatal wound.

How does Philly lose Jason Peters, and they don't skip a beat with their backup, and we have turnstiles when Smith isn't in there.

Playcalling. Most of their plays are quick passes and screens to rbs and wr's with blocking ahead, whereas our genius coaches have Dak wait in the collapsing pocket for 5 second before receivers make their cuts 15 yards down field. That leads to play action deep passes too. Our coaches won't ever get away from 'just beat your man' philosophy. They expect backups to play as well as starters, which is why you have seasons like 2015 and this season.

Blah blah blah...he sucks and I don't want to see him on the field in any capacity again. Like Romo said, football is a meritocracy and you aren't handed anything. Green had his chance to prove himself and he blew it. Next!

Let the team down? What an understatement.

He gave up half a season's worth of sacks. He probably added $10m to Clayborn's next contract. He got Winston Justiced.

apparently the coaches kept thinking eventually he'll block Clayborn.

That's the JG scheme. There is no plan B. As a player you just need to beat your man/ execute your play and finish the fight. Oh.....not to forget.....take it one play at a time. The results of each play will conclude to the sound of........clap clap clap......clap clap clap!

He may have let the coaches down, but the coaches also let him, the team and the fans down.
Honestly I kept asking myself how many times has Linehan going to run plays into a stacked defense.
You got the speed and the pulling ability to attack the outside which he started to do in the third quarter finally and then went right away from it. We were racking up 8 and 10 yards a clip attacking them outside.
I'm beginning to think Linehan went into this game trying to prove it was his offense and not Zeke that makes the big difference well guess what Scott you suck.

This is Chaz trying to save his job. He should be cut. Sorry, it's not like you were going against an all pro player yesterday. The Cowboys should have several players working out today for LT.

Oddly, the Coaches never doubled on Clayborn. That would have made some sense at least. That's what most teams do when they are getting pounded by one defensive player.

Ive seen kids hurt after letting their team down. I don't care how much they get paid, it sucks to be in his shoes. I hope he can overcome this and get better. Cue the critics, I understand. Just seen this up close and personal and it' not a laughing matter.
That's a good take. It just seems weird that he was that bad. He was solid last year in place of Smith. Adrian Claiborne is ok, I watched him play a bunch in College here in Iowa but I've never seen him like that. It's easy to be a fan and say Green sucks and cut him but that's got to be a horrible feeling to have a game like that with millions of people watching.
