Rookie T Chaz Green had hip surgery today according to Jerry Jones. Doesn't sound likely for start of training camp.

The more I hear about him, the more I regret the Cowboys not grabbing a running back with their third-round pick. I trust that the Cowboys know what they're doing, but Chaz sure doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence regarding his ability to contribute to this team the way you'd expect from a third-round pick.

Really disappointing to hear. This will set his rookie season back big time, and along with Gibson's injury, the two young guys are missing crucial reps in their development. The silver lining is that this increases the likelihood that Gibson makes the team rather than running the risk of trying to get him on the practice squad.

That's exactly what I think. They still had a chance to get a good RB and didn't. I thought it was bad and still do and I'm pretty sure most people agree
