Langford is the guy I wanted. I like Green but more in the 5th-6th round.

Drafted for the long haul not just this year. Get healthy that is the most important thing.

We need to replace Free down the road and we need to develop another swing tackle. Chaz can also play G. So hence the draft. If he busts then he busts. It's too early to even think about.

Hopefully Weems can stay healthy and continue his development. The swing tackle is an important position. Free is coming off an injury and Collins is a rookie (albeit a 1st round talent) who will be learning two new positions (G and RT).

A tougher Chazz:

None of those guys are likely any better than what's here. Just more of the same.

The more I hear about him, the more I regret the Cowboys not grabbing a running back with their third-round pick. I trust that the Cowboys know what they're doing, but Chaz sure doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence regarding his ability to contribute to this team the way you'd expect from a third-round pick. :(

I didn't have to hear anything about him to regret Dallas not grabbing a running back with its third-round pick. So I'm ahead of the curve.

If our running backs do well, I will take back my regrets of Dallas not drafting Buck Allen or Mike Davis. (Same thing if they turn out to be trash ... I'll say I was wrong about them. I don't think it would have hurt, though, to draft one to throw into the mix that we've got.)

Could be worse. Sorry for him but at least it happened at a position of strength and we don't have to worry about drafting any OL next year. He should be fully recovered by then and we can concentrate on drafting QB, RB and more D.
