A non-malice/stupidity explanation, the Colts started by inflating their footballs outside, then inside for the ref to check, then back outside for the game, and nothing exciting happened, while the Patriots inflated inside and then took the balls outside and the ideal gas law came into action.

As more information becomes available maybe we can get a gang/mob story to follow George R R Martin's novels.

Gasses expand when heated. Contract when cooled. It doesn't change the fact that that Pats were playing with balls that were not at regulation pressure, didn't report the condition, and benefitted from it, instead. Does anybody--even the most ardent Patriots supporter--think Tom Brady didn't realize he was throwing under-regulation balls? After he's gone on record saying he likes to throw them better that way? They probably do, but I think you have to be playing pretty gullible to expect anybody buy that argument.

Again, though, I don't think the convolutions ought to matter. The teams ought to be expected to keep equipment in game-regulation condition.

If I were to bother to search, there would be plenty of posts over the years of "Garrett is no Belichick" and "Romo is no Brady"...I don't say that to put down Garrett or Romo, but to point out BB and TB have been held in high regard before suddenly the haters attempt to go after them with all the grace of Eagles fans. The Deflategate investigation is ongoing with more facts and interviews to do. When these haters are on trial, it's all the facts on that case - NOT the past 10 years of other stuff....that's not the American way.

One thing is clear about the haters - Pats are their Daddy. They are inside their head.

And if NE wins it will be sweeter than a blowout of the Eagles

It bothers me anytime I see it is done.

I don't care too much about the USC stuff because the rules and guidelines in NCAA are often ridiculous and completely blurred. It's also tough for me to say that a college player shouldn't be paid. I personally think that a college player not being able to cash in on his own autograph is pretty much un-American.

I seriously cannot understand how a COWBOYS FAN can believe a NE SB win would be better than an Eagles blowout to a COWBOYS FAN.

Are you kidding me? This Pats love is officially ridiculous.

Colin Cowherd talks about these kinda people all the time. They would rather BE right, than GET it right.
