Herbert does seem to be a good one, but I'd still want Rodgers.

Herbert had 4 inches on Rodgers. Of course Rodgers got the experience, but based on potential, I just feel like Herbert is going to do incredible things.

The cool thing for Chargers fans is he’s from the area and been a die-hard Chargers fan all his life. He’s living his dream.

Well they were both blue chip prospects at every level for a reason. They both have elite arm talent. Dak isn't Mahomes or Herbert. He is a fourth rounder who has exceeded expectations for his career. Why do so many not seem to be able to understand that?

I think we can be critical of a player while still realizing we are pretty fortunate to have found him in the 4th round. He does not have the ceiling of dudes with the natural physical tools like Herbert and Lawrence. However even though I do think that the contract is not a good value (I think closer to 30-32 million would have been realistic value), would we rather rejoin the quarterback carousel when we have a roster that is built to win now? I think signing him back was the best option we had given our position. Someone would have signed him for something very close to that price if we didn't.

I mean looking back at it now, every team who passed on him, missed. Even if you had a “good” QB, you draft Herbert and say “bye bye”…

This is the normal thing that occurs on this forum in game threads between two other NFL teams, there are often a few who use it to express their negative feelings about Dak. Especially after a Cowboys loss or Dak has a bad game. Which is the case right now. Often topics that have nothing to do with Dak, has a least one Anti-Dak or Dak bashing post in them.

Yep.. I thought I read a listing once saying 6’ 7”.. and he’s thin and moves so gracefully at that height. I mean when you start getting that tall, your normally getting into oafish territory..
