Chargers left 9 high percentage of success FG points on the field. I guess the Chargers HC must be worse than McCarthy. Our guy hasn't cost us a game yet.

And people here think our coach is bad... LAC coach cost them that game. I called it at half time, said not taking points that many times was going to bite him in the @$$, and it did!

On the opening drive the Chargers are running the ball down the Chiefs throat then inside the 10 it’s pass psss pass pass NO POINTS. Before half you throw the FG in the garbage go for the TD and NO points. At some point this “ analytics “ that tells coaches risk reward is dumb . You need points in a game you lose by 6 in OT.

I think what's getting lost in the shuffle is Mahomes leads his team from behind to score a TD not a FG. And than he does it against to win the game. Mahomes is proving why he Is elite.

.....you know sometimes you forget conditioning matters. Some teams consider it important...others don't. You can tell we are one of those teams that could care less...and just get by on talent.
It's the little things that make a difference.

And that is why you go for it on 4th down because they can strike like that so quickly....FGs will get you beat. Have a hard time believing Chargers go 0 for5 again in a rematch.

The Dak-stans looked incredibly dumb and pretty silent by the mid-fourth quarter of the game, when for three quarters they were trying so hard to point out these elite QB missed throws in the game to justify Dak’s garbage play that happens regularly for stretches in every season he’s played.

Most people that clearly didn’t see Herbert play until last night were mesmerized by his rocket on the last TD, that was in tight coverage.

Then Mahomes came back, like he did in his play-off run when they one the SB, by using his feet and nailing dimes to win.

And BTW, the first drive was a TD, but the TE hit his head and essentially had seizure, which is why the ball rolled out at the end.

So they technically weren’t not successful on all the fourth down attempts.

And while Aikman said the blocking was good for San Diego while Slater was out, their blocking in the red zone was awful, whether on runs or passes .

Mahomes is nothing without Hill and Kelce. They are two tiers above slow *** Allen and Mike Williams. Sad cause Herbert outplayed Mahomes again because he the superior QB.

Mahomes is all world, but I’d take Herbert in a heart-beat.

Not going for FGs got the Chargers beat. Have a good drive but coming away with no points is what killed them.

Herbert is raw but he is better or is going to be better than Mahomes. They show Mahomes vs Herbert stat side by side and Herbert was better than Mahomes in all category.

You are comparing great QBs, not a guy like Mahomes to somebody like Dak. Of course a guy like Hill is pretty much unguardable in man, but you can’t discredit what Mahomes does. But I think Herbert is on a completely different level and if he had a guy like Hill, it would be dangerous.

I couldn't understand some of those choices either. I can see a 4th and 1, but 4th and goal from the 5 yard line early in the game? What are you doing? Then later in the game, 1st and goal from the half yard line and it's a roll out pass.

Why is the QB in shotgun on 4th and 1? Even if you intend to pass, that makes no sense. Might as well be 4th and 5.

Great mind think alike. Couldn't agree more with you. Watching Dak play today, it like day and night different from how Herbert play. Makes me angry, sad, and disappointed.
