Mo wouldn't be going anywhere. Carr is the one with the big contract.
You mean like Flowers did? His performance level hasn't matched his pay. That is why he was cut. Why should we make the same mistake on him...he isn't going to come in as a vet minimum or even cheap guy.
IMO it would make more sense to move Carr to FS and let Flowers play CB. Having said that not really interested in signing him.
oh wow. . . a familiar name was released. should we sign him?
Yes he is better than any other #4CB we can field right now.
So, Dallas is going to pay starter money for a #4 CB???

If we could get him in for a cap friendly deal that would be fantastic. He would instantly be our #4CB. The question is...what is his market value?
Where did I say that? No where. But I did say we don't know what his market value is.
Thomas Everette played for us at 5'9" 190 in the early 90s and was one of our most underrated FS in the history of the franchise. Size does NOT matter, if you have a nose for the ball....
Flowers is not a FS. He's 5'9", 185 pounds, and despite being a very good and willing tackler, he would be abused by tight ends. He's a corner.
Our predicament in terms of our salary cap status is prohibitive for acquiring vet FAs. We'll most likely stick with in-house guys.
