In all seriousness, this is terrible for the Cowboys. Kelly was an absolute train wreck. Give him another few years, and he was going to have this team be Ted Stepien Cleveland Cavaliers bad.

I really can't help but LOL at the posters in here lauding Lurie for being a "real" owner, who "demands results" and "has standards". They're one of the most pitiful franchises EVER, and still have zero trophies even under his all-of-the-sudden superior guidance. Please.

Not everything has to be about Garrett and/or Jerry and why you think one or both should be fired.

So please don't try to make this, about that.

Only responding to this "pitiful franchise tenure." He bought the franchise in 1994. Since Then

The Eagles have made the playoffs 12 times (57%) and has a 11-23 record (47.8%). SB 0-1
The Cowboys have made the playoffs 10 times (48%) and has a 9-7 record (56%). SB 1-0
The Giants have made the playoffs 8 times (38%) and has a 10-6 record (62.5%). SB 2-1
The Commanders have made the playoffs 8 times (19%) and has a 7-9 record (33%)

If that is pitiful, what does that make the other 3 teams (maybe excluding the 2007 and 2011 Giants)?

lol with that thinking I know you are either an underling or an unsuccessful boss

The best leaders don't hire yes men because they rarely succeed

You need honest men with the ability to have opinions that differ from your own. However, at the end of the day, if you don't do something your boss tells you to you get fired right? As far as success, I do alright.:yourock:

Giants are 2-1 in the SB. They lost to Baltimore.

I wonder if Lurie had the sports science staff mix a pink smoothie for Kelly as a going away gift?

I was with one of my best friends who's an Eagles fan when I found out about this tonight. Kind of sucks for us, but I guess he did put them through two 10-6 seasons before screwing everything up. Good move by Philly, well played. Unfortunately that's one less thing about them I can hate. Maybe they'll sign Rob Ryan as their next head coach LOL

You mean like 8-8, 8-8, 8-8?

Go back to previous comment to look at how 8-8 was actually a good record considering that we had a historically terrible defense. In any case, do you want to discuss Chip Kelly being fired or just want to pass your agenda?

Way to back track
'Honest men with opinions of their own' are not yes men

Jerry has yes men

Campo
Wade
Garrett

All 3 missing a back bone
