The Raiders have been a black hole literally forever and now they are hiring competent coaches. Yes chip failed in the NFL but this go around he has Pete as his HC.
 
As long as Kelly isn’t making player personnel decisions, the Raiders should be okay with him. Kelly is the same guy that got rid of McCoy and Jackson while they still had prime years.

The hawks were 10-6, 11-5, 12-4, with scotteheimer as OC and Carroll fired him.
The following 2 seasons they were 6-8 and 9-8.
May be time to consider the game has passed Pete by!

He's a failed head coach and acting GM, he may be a good OC. He gutted the Eagles. He thought his offense would work no matter what. Not the case in the NFL. He needed the talent. Same with that crap 49ers team he went to. If the Raiders don't have much talent, he'll probably fail there too. I'm not familiar with their roster.
 
Raiders are where coaches go to vanish into the black hole. Btw, Chip has never done much in the NFL. Why all the weird luv for a guy that's never done a thing in the league? :huh:
 
I'm puzzled. Why would he leave the OSU job for the same position in Vegas where he has no offensive talent to work with ?
