Choke holds not not called

I saw at least 4 holds around the necks of players that were not called. I am not one that complains about officials, but even my wife was like ***? All 4 were clear as day and not called. They ended up as big plays for the Bears. So happy the NFL got in bed with Vegas. Sigh...

Who are you pretending got held on that play? I literally just looked at it and nothing.

I watched the youtube game highlights and one hold, among the rest, really stood out to me.
Bears TE #88 grabbed Micah and pulled him to the ground on a TD.

Not sure, but I think all the non-calls are the reason we see Micah so upset on sidelines the last three or four games.

Yup, 100%. Virtual Reality, or interesting "scripts" invades our Sundays far too often.

They're definitely relaxing the holding guidelines lately for offenses. Using the arm bar is one thing , but not for a extended period

That one was maybe the worst I’ve seen. It’s not possible that the ref missed that. He’s standing right there and the guy pulled him away from tackling Fields from behind.

The choke holds that some see are not actually penalties. And the refs probably miss a holding call in 8 different games, every week. Holding and pass interference always seem to be problematic for the officials.

Micah said something on Twitter about a penalty not being called because he was away from the ball. That is fine but all I ask for is consistency because in a big game you can guarantee none of the calls will go in Dallas' favor.

It's very much holding it was just in theory preceded by an act that negated them calling it holding.

If the official views that the player used a rip move then by rule is okay not to call holding and it looks as though the offensive lineman can do almost anything they want at that point.

There is also plenty of holding that is not called with no rip move involved.

Not all the time because I’ve seen Tyron Smith do that to an opposing player a million times.
