I don't think there is any obsession with any Commanders site here. It may get discussed at times to laugh at their stupidity, but no obsession. And I've never been to a Commanders site, so I have no idea if they look at CZ too and have no way to compare the levels of cross-reference.

I bend over backwards to be nice to the Skins fans here. I am not nice when someone trolls to insult our team or our fanbase and I am never going to be. The same is not true of Cowboys fans at ES. I am very respectful when I go there because I know it is their house.

I was literally told by the owner of ES when I was registering that he would "relish banning me if I put even one toe out of line." My account was not even activated and I was threatened with a ban. One of the Mods mentioned above once told me that if my "next response was not word for word exactly" what he told me to say (which was a damned lie) I was "going to be banned." The Admin on that site backed him up and told me he was "disappointed in me for not doing as I was told to avert an issue between our fans."

I promise you, my treatment there is not an isolated thing. It is common knowledge on most of the rival boards and even some Commanders boards. ES is a huge site and it is a great site. Let them run it how they choose to. I guarantee you that if I acted here like I have been treated there you'd see a lot of threads there obsessing about this forum. I am proud as hell that there are precious few of those threads. Our Mods are freaking awesome people. I couldn't be prouder that our forum is not obsessed over there as much as ES is here. I wouldn't be proud of being called jerks. That's just me.

Yes, there are Cowboys fans obsessed with the Skins. So the hell what? We need you pointing out the irony? No, we don't.

Imitating does not have a parody element involved in it. Like if a QB where to wear black high tops in honor of Johnny Unitas, that is 'imitating' and that is a very sincere form of flattery.

Romo wanting to be like Tom Brady and hang back in the pocket longer is a form of 'imitation' and something that Brady should be flattered by. Speaking of which, if somebody in the league made a video like that, but instead impersonating Brady and Welker, you can be rest assured that Brady and Welker would take that as an insult and let be known as such and would be chomping at the bit to get some payback and shove it down their throats.

It's really so sad. It's like how the Aggies just HATE the Longhorns and think it's still this HUGE rivalry with all this venom and hate. When in reality, no Texas fans or players even think about A&M and couldn't really care less about them.

I beg to differ. Sure the two universities have gone in different directions, but the rivalry will always be there. It's a fun, and yet serious rivalry that has gone on for generations.
