I actually thought it was not a called play. I saw a defender break through and thought he gave up on the punt and just ran. I guess I am wrong but I would have never guessed we called it.

I don't know if the Cowboys addressed it but was this a called fake or the fact that Philly looked to be in a position to block the punt had Jones tried to punt? Just watching it live it looked to be that Jones ran because he had too or else Philly blocks that punt.

Come on guys. It was a called fake, Garrett said it and watch the downfield blocking. The Cowboy's line let players come up the middle so Chris could get to the outside cleanly.

They'll do anything to discredit it lol. I'll admit it does look like it was unintentional but I think that was intentional to look that way. When you see how fast Chris Jones run and how he ran? You can tell it was planned.

I was surprised to see the other trick play as well, when Beasley threw it to T. WILL (who should have caught that). I hope we run a trick play every few games. I don't like Garrett, but he showed some balls last night and got us that win.

I will say it looks like Wilcox was taking his blockers inside intentionally but then he also looked surprised to see Jones running so I don't know.

I forgot that Danny White used to punt. Wasn't Randall Cunningham another QB who punted? We don't see that much anymore. Awesome run by Chris Jones. That man can move!

I didn't think it was a called play but after looking at all the players, they are all blocking the entire time. If it was not called, most would have released downfield to cover the punt but they stay close and block even though their back is turned and could not have seen the play break down and Jones take off. I now think it was called.

I suspect the reactions here would be much different if Jones was blown up 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

But Garrett definitely put 'em on the line with that call. Sometimes you have to take a risk. This one worked.

Yeah, Wilbur whiffed on his guy and a punt probably would have been blocked,,, looked like Jones made the decision to run.

That is the first fake punt I think I’ve ran since probably high school,’’ the 27-year old Jones said. "We knew going into the week to look for a specific look, and what they gave us was favorable to that.
"So we had to steal a possession to get back in the game, and it worked. I just had to trust the play-calling and do what I was supposed to do.’’
