As a PSU fan, I've watched him plenty. Ideal size, terrific arm strength, not accurate, doesn't seem to read the field quickly.

Regressed substantially when O'Brien and lead wideout Allen Robinson left campus. When he declared for draft, he publicly thanked Franklin and the coaching staff. Privately? I don't have a clue what he's saying about his situation.

He's intriguing as a 3-4th rounder just because of his measurables, and his freshman year. For an organization that once spent a 4th rounder on Stephen McGee, I wouldn't be upset if they took a flyer on him.

MMQB has an interesting article about Hack: https://t.co/E7wPYAyX0Q

I've watched all of his games and he's extremely frustrating. Rarely do you come away thinking that he "made plays" and more often than not you are thinking that he cost them a play that could have been there. I'd consider him in the 4th just as a gamble, much like an injured player who has potential.

And for the hand size junkies, I think his measured 9" at the combine. Might explain several plays where he just completely lost the ball at the start of his throwing motion or coughed it up when being hit.

For the completion percentage junkies, his was never over 60% I don't think. It was abysmal at times during the last two years and this was on a team that threw a lot of short passes.

His lack of pocket presence is disturbing, almost complete opposite from Romo. Not sure how he would be a a good fit here.

He looks like david Carr toward the end of his career. He's so busy looking at the pass rush he can't find a reciever. He had a terrible oline and that may be the cause but I can't think of a player like that ever getting past it. And I thought last year he would be the top QB and had all the tools but the mental part of his game is shot

I just wanted to consensus reaction to all the QBs Not named Wentz, Goff, or Lynch. Wentz I believe is going to CLE. and although I am a fan of Goff; with what has been said about not taking a QB at #4 I am going into the draft thinking we miss out on the top 3. I also believe we'd have to trade back to the 1st to get Lynch but it will be a hefty price to pick in the teens or early 20s.

If we do miss out on the top 3 which of
Hackenberg, Cook, & Prescott is the next best option?

4. They are also taking a closer look at Brissett, they seen him at the Senior bowl and at his pro day, now he is coming to Dallas for a personal work day. That suggest to me that they are interested.

By the way for me Hackenberg, Brissett, then Prescott in that order.

The name people keep leaving out of the mix is Jacoby Brissett. He has all the tools as well, inexperience, a horrid line and receiver corp in college has to be factored in when grading him as well. Personally I believe Bissett, Hackenburg, or Presscott will be our selection at QB.

I have seen Brissett play so many times. Dude is good. He is tough to sack. Kind of like Roethlisberger. I know big company but it's the truth. So strong. States line was bad last year which didn't help. Given time as much as it pains a Heels fan to say. This guy could be the real deal late round gem.

I have been promoting him on this site since the end of the season. I have been comparing him to Steve McNair, but Roethlisberger is another good comparison. Especially with a couple of years to sit and adjust to the speed of the game I really like him.

Guy is good man. This coming from a tarheel blue blood. I'm glad he's no longer at state.

I wouldn't consider him unless he's still around with one of our 6th round comp picks.

Hackenberg will either make a GM look like a genius, or a fool.

If we miss out on the real qb's the best option is load up on other positions and get ready to give a whole draft for a 3rd or 4th rated QB in a couple years. It's a waste to use a pick on a QB who is not worth the roster spot or the time
