Cincy WR Ja'Marr Chase vs Diggs

You have to have double coverage on Chase. No one guy is taking him out of the game. It is the only way to slow down Burrow/Chase.

Hooker is going to be very busy on Sunday. He’s going to become very acquainted with Mr. Chase.

In truth, I don’t expect anybody to stop Chase completely. He’s going to catch some balls. They just better make damn sure they tackle him. You have to wrap him up. You can’t just throw a shoulder into him and expect him to go down.

CD does not have the physical gifts of Chase who is much faster, taller, and has better hands. CD needs to be the best player he can be but he is not in the same ballpark as Chase.

The rah-rah Cowboys homer fans may not like this- but i don't even think Lamb on the scale of Vikes Justin Jefferson who slipped even farther down in 1st round than Lamb did.
Ironically Jefferson put in a faster pre-draft 40 time than Lamb, and he still slipped in the first round.
I tend to think WRs and RBs will do that on draft day.

Chase and Jefferson are constantly displaying top end play speed. i don't see that with Lamb, who i am hoping at the least turns out like Chargers Keenan Allen

As you probably know, Lamb fell bc he ran a 4.51 at the 2020 NFL combine which isn't elite for WR. I think he just reminded Jerry of Micheal Irvin.....about the same size and speed. He just doesn't have Michaels hands or Aikman throwing him the ball.

I think Jefferson slipped bc he played in the shadow of Chase. He fooled a lot of teams. There is a funny video circulating of the MN front office laughing when Philly took Raegor just ahead of him.
