If he can stay healthy and just become an average NFL quality CB, that would be a big plus.

Dallas is going to be playing a defense that plays to his strengths if he can just stay healthy. He is clearly not a Zone guy, but the guy has played good when they put him in man. Guy shut down Mannings right side in that game the played the broncos in 2013 in the 2nd half and even got a int.

Okay, going out on a very small and delicate limb. Everything is falling into place this offseason. Prediction: Claiborne gets healthy and locks everyone down!

That sir is called a twig which is exactly where you are standing with that prediction :D

Until Claiborne learns how to play off in coverage, he will continue to struggle. With the patellar tendon injury, it also remains to be seen how good his lateral quickness will be. The Cowboys literally have to go into the season expecting nothing from him, with any contribution being gravy.

I just don't believe that the Cowboys could have been off as far as fans make the progression of development for Claiborne. All is on the line as to his true football heart now.

Good. Any contribution from him is a win.

That being said, my expectations are pretty low for somebody with the mental agility of a soap dish.

excuse me if I don't believe him. I hope I'm wrong, but he's never shown much except the ability to sit on the bench.

have never given up on him...short leash, but with a pass rush, the entire secondary will be better...if healthy, Mo will be good this year

Can somebody put together a video of Mos season from last season? A similar video to the one that guy made for Randle would be perfect...I know it's a lot to ask but I'd be interested in viewing it

Just a nickle back... that's all I'm asking for. Just do something well enough to help the team. Please? Just a little contribution?

That's the beauty of the situation - and of the Byron Jones pick. Claiborne is probably 5th on the CB depth chart at the moment and any move he makes up the depth chart is a bonus.

I don't think I'd trade Claiborne straight up for Patmon.

I'm not joking.

Yeah, it would be a bonus. If he could just play well enough, they could play Jones some at FS, which is really what I'd like to see. I think the defense would really take off with Jones at FS and with the DL providing a much improved pass rush.

Claiborne is paid for already, so anything we get is a bonus.

Why Dallas fans continue to root against him is beyond me, not talking to you.

If he can get on the field, he can help us.

Yeah. I'm still trying to figure out why Charger fans ever rooted against Ryan Leaf.
