Trade for a pass rusher, we have trade bait. A pass rush rush will help the secondary. And on the positive side, he will probably be easier to sign...although he does seem injury prone.

The cost of franchising him would be outrageous. Someone said more than 13 mllion. Way too much for a player like Claiborne.

The only good thing about that would be a shorter term commitment, especially with how brittle he's proven to be.

I think you're going to see a deal similar to what he signed for this season.

The Cowboys could also say, "Enoughs, enough" and let him go.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an early draft pick on a corner.

Kind of hoping for the latter. Brown looks legit.

It wouldn't surprise me if they let Claiborne walk.

The fact is dollars are going to be scarce and I think they'll be able to retain Carr on the cheap.

Mo's contract this year was for $2.6 mil. That's not a lot, but it still may be too much.

Brown is slightly less than 1/2 a mill.

Maybe some just recognize trends after they happen every year for four straight years or something. Think that's called common sense. And yes, I did tell you so, just last week, in fact. Need me to dig up the thread?

Does your arm hurt?

I would rather bring back Claiborne than Carr. Another 1 year - show me contract for around $ 3-4 million or something in that range. And we absolutely have to draft a cornerback, probably 2nd round, no matter what.
