It just seems like some of you guys would rather root against Mo and it makes no sense to me. The guy is a Cowboy.

I'm not rooting against him I doubt anyone is we're all just frustrated with him. Mo will receive praise from me when and if he starts playing well on the field.

No it did not. It got better because that was the natural ways new players and defenses get better, by playing more games together. Not. By injury to a player.

Our secondary looked significantly better with Sterling Moore playing in place of Claiborne.

And that's how it should be IMO. He's done nothing to warrant praise but I also feel his body breaking down is more the cause for his play then it is skill.

He had no training camp and got hurt in the beginning of the season. The criticism of Mo is unfair but at the same time I understand it. It just sucks for him we traded a 2nd round pick and used our early first to get him.

After all these years of failure, what part of the criticism is unfair?

A lot differently than I do Claiborne.

You see, when Lee has played, he has produced. That counts for something.

When Claiborne has played, he has done very little.

When watching Lee, at least I get the feeling that the guy could be great and how sad it is that injuries have held him back. With Mo, I just shake my head and wonder how they could have miss on his talent level in such a big way. I have never had the feeling that Mo could be anything more than average against pro competition.

Why root for a player that is clearly hurting the team ? It started with the day he was drafted and he has been a waste of team resources every since then.

No it didn't lol. Moore and Carr both took turns getting beaten as the year went out with Carr finally getting it together towards the end of the season.

I guess we'll agree to disagree, but the guy has never done anything that gives me any hope for him to be any better then a 4th or 5th CB on a NFL roster.

He's been rehabbing injuries more than he's been practicing that's been the main problem. It's stunted his development resulting in him losing his confidence.

So you root against Sean Lee too then? He's been our best defensive player and can't get on the field when it matters.....

I can agree with that part. I disagree with the part that the secondary looked better without him. Scandrick is we the only consistent player out there last year.

Anyone who disagrees with this must not have paid attention to the secondary. Claiborne seemed low on confidence and picked on by qbs. When Moore took his place, there wasn't a glaring weakness, so qbs didnt have that one CB to attack over and over when in a pinch. We were almost a solid defense once Moore became the 3rd CB

IMO, he hasn't shown he can't play in this league yet.

What has he done to prove that he is a starter quality player? This is a serious question . He played like a rookie in his first few games and that was understandable. He never improved from those games in his rookie season and his play declined. At best, he is a 4th CB on this team.

I wish the Cowboys hadn't extended his contract due to his injury history. These players that stay injured are wasted resources when they can't stay on the field . It hurts the overall team:

I disagree. I liked Moore, but he was not significantly better than Mo, though most want to beleive he was.
Which is why Claiborne is still here and Moore is not. He was not even offered a deal.
Yes, I know Mo is still under contract.

As long as Mo's in Dallas you pull for the player. I also respect his willingness to give it his all to the bitter end.

True humility and certainly not arrogant in his stance to lay it on the line, if Claiborne can prove he's worth the consideration this year, it's a win for everyone.
