Oh I'm so relieved Claiborne!! Dude, look across the locker room at Wittens knees/ankles. Now just put the microphone down and slowly walk away.

Was JUST about to say this. Some of these players on this team are hilarious. Meanwhile you can't keep Witten out of practice and he doesn't say a word.

Just when I started warming up to Claiborne for being tough and playing better, he throws this out.

If they could all just be like Witten.

Doesn't say a word? I heard from two or three different reporters that Witten said his knee and ankles were sore but he would still play. And there was nothing wrong with him doing so. Just as there's nothing wrong with Mo saying he's playing through soreness. Or the countless other atheletes I've heard over the last 40 years say they're playing through soreness.

Pretty sure Jerry mentioned this yesterday and reporters probably asked him about it today.

Witten. Future HOF,ROH,one of the best TE ever. Will go down as an all time great Cowboy. Makes following statement.
“It’s just some bumps and bruises,” Witten said, via Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post. “Typical football stuff. I’ll be fine.”
Jason is a hero. Nobody minds him mentioning it.
Mo Claiborne. Disappointing, oft injured, high draft pick. Makes similar statement. Due to it originally being revealed by Jerry Jones.

While praising Claiborne during a Tuesday morning radio interview on 105.3 The Fan's Shan and RJ show, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed that Claiborne has been playing through knee soreness this season.
"It's been good," Claiborne said. "Last week I just got a little bit sore. It's even more like playing on the turf. But it's not stopping me. It's just something that I was just a little sore. I'm going to be good."

Fans use it as an excuse to hate him even more. Yeah. Seems fair to me..

He's fine he's just not used to playing this well for this long, so his mind thinks something is wrong:laugh: BTW: Shan & RJ is some of the worst radio ever.

Yeah, admittedly...I'm probably guilty of not being impressed by Mo. Takes more than 3 good games and a dropped pick to impress me for a #4 pick.

To this point no one has been impressed with him. And rightfully so. Personally. I just can't get mad at a guy for saying he's playing through a little soreness. Especially when he wasn't the one who brought it up first. Just answering a question. We gotta remember most of these comments quoted by these guys are usually released out of context.

Mo Clai owned Julio on 3 plays, too bad they didn't just keep him on the guy all day....

http://www.dallascowboys.com/video/2015/09/29/film-room-mo-claiborne-shows-skill-against-julio-jones

Falcons did a good job running Jones across the middle and putting our S and LB in coverage on him. Ryan started picking on Church in the 4th quarter when we absolutely needed a stop. He thrashed our zone looks. Credit to the Falcons coaches in getting him good matchups. And credit to Jones who ran across our middle with impunity all game long it seemed.

That pass rush was as bad as I have ever seen. I would not want to face Marinelli this week.
