Well, perhaps it seems so to you but to me, using double standards, as it applies to any level of human evaluation, is sadly uninformed, insensitive and unfair. What applies to one in a matter of personal conduct should apply equally to the other. Both made very similar statements, yet one is at fault and the other is not? Not cool.

One had blood pouring from his mouth as he was crawling off the field and played football. Every season. Exceptionally well, mind you.

One, has not a football body. Yet plays football.

You're smart. Do the math.

You won't be fair to Mo with the answer which is opposite of what you're trying to convey.

I was watching during the game and I was like are we finally seeing the Mo we been waiting for? He was being physical with him at the LOS. I wonder if after the year you give him an extension keep him and Byron to battle opposite Scandrick, for now it's good to see him being there at the RIght Corner spot, when I saw Patmon get toasted on that first cross I though maybe they'd let Claiborne follow him but they kept Patmon, and he kept giving him the whole inside.

Whole defense needs some work after that game !!!

We are referring to completely different things. You're comparing their football abilities while I'm comparing how they are judged for their actions when they say identical things. MC is being criticized for saying he'll play hard despite being hurt (which he has done admirably.) Then JW says the same thing and everything's fine. That is called a double standard any way you slice it. It's one thing for coaches like Jimmy Johnson to treat players differently and another thing for fans like ourselves to do so. Jimmy, himself, said a big reason he got tired of coaching is because he got tired of being the bad guy. He realized some of the things he did were unfair, yet he did so anyway for the results they promoted. While a coach may feel obliged to be unfair, fans surely are not. Your idea of being fair to Mo and mine are totally opposite. I say let's let the coaches coach while the fans be supportive, as long as a player's actions are honorable.

I don't dislike Mo. He just doesn't seem to have the football body.

I've questioned his desire and mental toughness a few times but for the most part Dallas could do worse, I guess.
