Just stop dude, you're making yourself look silly. He isn't making any excuses about his play. Where in reality did you read this made up nonsense? Dude allowed 4 catches on Julio Sunday why on gods green earth would he need some lame built in excuse? Stop pushing the agenda and layoff the glue. He's experincing soreness in his knee after weeks of TC and 3 games and you think he's lying? What reality do you live in to think that he's making it up or lying that he is now having sorness in his surgically repaired knee? He's been the best CB and probably rated in the top half of the league right now. You keep using this word "excuse" yet I don't think you really understand it's meaning at all. SMH... I just can't with this... wow

Oh so where has this Mo love been last year when everyone call him a bum? 3 solid games out of several years of play and now everyone is on this kid like he is the next 21. Ha !!! You guys are silly, so bi polar. Love em one day hatem the next. While there is a thread of everyone bashing TWill a player that has been there for us.

Yeah but No is the one who came out with an excuse. Sometimes I wish he keep it to himself. Carr and Pattmon got burnt, they are not making excuses.

What excuse? Why does Mo need an excuse when the general consensus is that he had a solid game for 3 weeks straight now? Jason Witten told everyone he had two sprained knees and a sprained ankle. Was that an excuse for him? I don't follow you here.

Oh I'm so relieved Claiborne!! Dude, look across the locker room at Wittens knees/ankles. Now just put the microphone down and slowly walk away.

I hear ya, but as fragile as we all know Mo is, he's ballin. Got to give him some credit.

Jason Witten is just a warrior. Sorry Bob Lily, time to relinquish the title of "Mr. Cowboy". A new sheriff has arrived.

I have been extremely disappointed with Mo heading into this year, why not as a 6th overall pick come high expectations. It is like the difference from a high pick QB compared to the 7th rd pick with the high pick comes high expectations. Mo has had injury issues he has also been benched in favor of Scandrick. I believe Mo has the talent but I also think the injury and disappointing play has taken a toll on his confidence. If he can regain that confidence I think he can still be a very good CB in this league

That was game injury reports and it was done. Not after game when someone is trying to get an excuse.

Yeah I'm not trying to bash the guy but not trying to hear about his injuries now. I just want him to suck it up and if he can't then its next man up.

I did not take Mo as making an excuse for anything, his play has been good thus far. I think people once again make a bigger deal out of a simple comment than need be.

Yes you hit the nail on the head. I was probably being a little too harsh on Claiborne. I'm still upset about the game last week.

What does that have to do with the crap you've been talking about in this Thread? So because you look silly over your "excuse" crap you try and change the subject? People can't be happy for the kid? That's absurd. He has been made the villian by people on this board and each game after a nasty injury he has played solid why not give him props? What we are suppose to hate every player that doesn't live up to our standards? What reality do you live in?

You're a special kinda guy aren't you? You realize that Jones blurted it out on radio right? Next Mo was asked about it because well reporters will dig for a story after it was let on that he is battling soreness. He says he is yet hes all good and you make the statement above? Try and follow along he is doing the exact thing you are asking him to do. But you call it an "excuse". SMH

He's just trolling at this point IMO. Has to be, because the alternative isn't flattering at all.

Comparing Mo to Witten is, in any football discussion, insane.

Well, perhaps it seems so to you but to me, using double standards, as it applies to any level of human evaluation, is sadly uninformed, insensitive and unfair. What applies to one in a matter of personal conduct should apply equally to the other. Both made very similar statements, yet one is at fault and the other is not? Not cool.

Mo Clai owned Julio on 3 plays, too bad they didn't just keep him on the guy all day....

I was watching during the game and I was like are we finally seeing the Mo we been waiting for? He was being physical with him at the LOS. I wonder if after the year you give him an extension keep him and Byron to battle opposite Scandrick, for now it's good to see him being there at the RIght Corner spot, when I saw Patmon get toasted on that first cross I though maybe they'd let Claiborne follow him but they kept Patmon, and he kept giving him the whole inside.

Doesn't say a word? I heard from two or three different reporters that Witten said his knee and ankles were sore but he would still play. And there was nothing wrong with him doing so. Just as there's nothing wrong with Mo saying he's playing through soreness. Or the countless other atheletes I've heard over the last 40 years say they're playing through soreness.
Some fans will make Mt. Everest out of a mole hill.........

I'd keep Mo and let Carr check out another team after this year.
