Go look at the Miami Dolphins' roster at receiver and tell me again with certainty that Brown won't get claimed.

He will need to go on the 53, even if he's a weekly inactive, if Dallas wants to keep him.

Dallas doesn't care. They have Pickens, Lamb, Flournoy, and Turpin.

Brown will never play.

The Dolphins need picks, not players. That's a rebuild.

thats always the excuse... so I guess that is what dak did as a rookie? If it is back ups to back ups, why doesnt most QBs light up all these back ups? Why doesnt every RB look like Barry Sanders? Why doesnt each team have a brown that lit up the back ups in preseason? Back ups or not... you make those catches, you make those catches.
 
Howell is playing much better than Milton? All I hear is about how Milton will replace Dak.

I look at Howell ceiling as a backup. High quality backup. Like Josh McCown. Milton to me has the ceiling of potential starting qb thanks to his arm and mobility. They may view Howell like Baker or Romo.

Fine. Why is he in your roster? When is he going to play?

You only take 48 players to games, so are you going to have him sit and watch the top 3 receivers all game and do nothing?

You going to sit Pickens and Lamb so Brown can go out and work on his game against the Eagles?

As Parcels would say, you can't take players to games that don't contribute anything. They gotta play.

You'll still have him if needed. He'll get called up from the practice squad if somebody gets hurt.
 
Brown can start. But I saw the ot need as dire in my above post. I was concerned. This move helps our depth but we still have questions. Now we need a corner

He might be a decent receiver who makes big catches every once in a while, but he is far from proven against first team defenses and all around a good WR.
