Clarence Hill: Cowboys leaning towards Costanzo over T. Smith

[johnnyd]

Down the road who knows? Maybe Castanzo goes on to have a better career. Fact is NOBODY knows right now for sure and It's not like Castanzo is chopped liver and being overdrafted by 2-3 rounds.

But any way you cut it sitting tight @9 and picking Castanzo over Smith is a huge disapointment today for most of us that have fallen in love with the idea of having Smith wear the star.

yeah lets not forget jake long got abused by vernon gholston and now look who is good in the nfl and who is not.

Didn't long give up like 3 sacks?

[Big Cat]

Am I the only one who would rather have Pouncey than Castonzo?

Am I the only one who would rather have Pouncey than Castonzo?

I think its just the fact that most people feel we need an OT more than an interior lineman right now, but i'd be thrilled to get Pouncey.

i do but not until after pick 14 or more.

[Stash]

If the Cowboys think Costanzo is the best tackle in the draft, you trust your scouts and take the best tackle in the draft. I'm sick of Dallas trading down and taking lower tier talents.

:signmast:

Quoted for truth!

[bbgun]

more likely Hill and his peers are being used to spread disinformation

Told ya.

[burmafrd]

I think Jerruh does this as naturally as most people breathe.

I honestly don't believe Jerry had alot to do with the decision.

[Stash]

I give Jerry and the team all the credit in the world for taking their guy and not getting cute.

Now we can all hope that they're right and Tyron Smith becomes this team's Pro Bowl Left Tackle for the next decade plus!

[Dayton Cowboy]

As long as the QBs go like Goose thinks, then Castonzo should fall. He had him at 22 in his mock.

I didn't see the see the mock, but if he's still going to the Colts at 22, then that is another correct pick for Goose.

[burmafrd]

Goose has done better this year in his mock than usual

No way....
