Yes, but I think they might prefer more of a hybrid oversized receiver type. You kind of been saying a second tight end would improve the running game. The Cowboys running offense was rolling early because of 12 personnel. The Chargers game was 12 personnel played to perfection.
Well that is basically what Jarwin was.Yes, but I think they might prefer more of a hybrid oversized receiver type.
Yes. Let’s hope we see them take a Otton or Woods as they both have blocking potentialWell that is basically what Jarwin was.
It's a deep receiver draft. I wouldn't do it, but I'm on a couch.Been saying this for weeks, but yet many dispute they aren't taking another high receiver.
McKeon will be the starting 2nd tight end when training camp starts. Like Ball and other players we drafted last season, he will get a chance to show he can play while the Cowboys let the tight end draft choice develop.Yes. The TE position has a steep development curve on the next level, just look at Shultz, took him 2-3 yrs before he made an impact.McKeon will be the starting 2nd tight end when training camp starts. Exactly but McKeon can at least give us Jarwin level of production. The TE position has a steep development curve on the next level, just look at Shultz, took him 2-3 yrs before he made an impact.
Yes. I think the group will be in good shape if they draft a legitimate, future starter. We would have the prospect, along with Shultz, McKeon & Sprinkle. There is no guarantee that Shultz gets resigned and they could just allow him to play on the tag this yr. It would be a cost effective move if they are able to replace him in 2023 with a cheaper/better option. What we do know is that 3 TE's are already on their 30 day visits and they are connected to several more, they are drafting a TE this yr!Exactly but McKeon can at least give us Jarwin level of production.
I may seem like a Cowboys homer but I don’t get the panic on the forum. The defense is better right now then it was at the end of the season because they bring back two all pro players that are under 25 years of age. Parsons and Diggs will be better. The combination of Armstrong/Fowler will be equal to the Gregory production. Osa and Gholston will improve as well. This will also be the best secondary the Cowboys have had in years.Yes. Exactly and the draft is setting up for us to be able to fill both positions with the first two picks. I see why Cavanaugh left 105.7. Broaddus all but called CeeDee a bust and the other guy said the Cowboys will offer him a Gallup type salary. If last years rookies continue to progress I think the D will be fine.
We just need a LG and a WR 3 and I’m good.
Defense is all returning except Gregory and they added Fowler to help with his departure. Yes, could draft a future starter at Edge, Linebacker and NT, but the defense is pretty set. The offense struggled badly down the stretch and they already lost 3 starters, a lot of work is needed on the offensive side of the football. Perhaps we will see 1-2 defensive players drafted and the rest will be on the other side of the football.I may seem like a Cowboys homer but I don’t get the panic on the forum. Do we really need a top 100 receiver? We have big developmental receivers in Semi and Vasher. Gallup will be back and CeeDee is our number 1. A fourth or 5th round receiver is a deep threat actually makes the most sense for this team. I would double dip on the interior of the offensive line or get a pass rusher with that 2nd round pick personally.Defense is all returning except Gregory and they added Fowler to help with his departure. They basically have 2 quality receivers, with 1 hurt. In the modern game, it's all about the pass, you better have at least 3 receivers who can threaten a defense or the other two can be easily taken away. Same goes with the TE position. More options, makes the passing game easier.Do we really need a top 100 receiver? We have big developmental receivers in Semi and Vasher. Gallup will be back and CeeDee is our number 1. Dak plays best in a ball control 12 personnel set up like the first 7 games. The team played better when Gallup went out and Amari had the hamstring injury. The run game is the key to our unlocking our offense. Jarwin’s injury hurt us more then anyone would have believed. They basically have 2 quality receivers, with 1 hurt. No doubt, but they also need to threaten teams on the pass or defenses will stack the box. Have to be good in both.Dak plays best in a ball control 12 personnel set up like the first 7 games.
