I counted from the bottom up. 21 teams have a worse record than Cleveland.

that means 10 have an equal or better record (putting cleveland at #11)

I spend a great deal of time on Extreme and I'd imagine that it would be pretty easy to find a thread or two from many, many, Skinz fans who thought we would be picking in the top 5 as well.

No one could have predicted the exact circumstances of Cleveland's improvement but that's not the point. What I and others did was correctly argue that Cleveland very well might improve significantly for any number of reasons. As I put it at the time, those reasons could include: 'a relatively easy schedule, the return of injured players, this infusion of new talent, sheer luck.'

I'll give you credit for calling it, but everyone almost had to have had the thought in the back of their mind that the Cleveland pick would end up being lower than we imagined, after what happened to Buffalo's 1st round pick in '05

As am I. Agreed, it would have been nice to have had a top 5 pick but in the end, we have come away with a very promising player in Spencer and an extra #1. All in all, I'd say it was a very good trade for us.

and all it costed us was a 3rd, basically

I for one didn't think it would be higher than the #15. BUT when it all washes out we got A Spencer for a 3rd and 5th round pick. Now Spencer hasn't played a lot this year, but he shown potential.....so I ask you this ..... was it a bad deal????
