Cleveland looking for TE

Not completely. 57 didn't see the play develop at all, Witten should have had a better block on 55, and 52 is his actual block. He knocked one to the ground, got a push on the other, and finished his actual block.

I would say it was completely by play design. There wasn't any kind of epic blocking on that play.

He blocked down, The LB followed in case it was a pass and took himself out of the play, then Escobar stuck his arm out and helped some on the leakage that Witten created.

Im not down on Escobar or anything but there is really nothing to see there in that play other than Witten taking a horrible angle and Zach Martin making a nice reach block.

why not just give them the great escobar you know the TE we spent a premium second round pick on(sp?) we sure are using him to the fullest. smh.

Based on what we've done in the past that would net us a fourth which I'm sure we could use to trade up in the second next year to pick Escobar's replacement.

That's how we do. :)

Cameron jordan is now said to have no structural damage. Or is it jordan cameron.

Trade them Witten (old, expensive) for something of real value, preferably to beef up our D.
Then give Escobar the snaps he needs to develop into something special.

Realistically, how long will Witten play for us, anyway?
He's been Romo's crutch way past the esperation date.

Look to the future. Ok, I will duck now.

So, if we trade a TE to Clev, we are down to two TEs and we receive in trade a Dl/LB, I assume. We will then have to add a TE because you cannot seriously think of going into a game with only two TEs. Who are you going to cut?

witten...expensive...? cant wait to hear this.

But if we trade Witten $$ from jersey sales will drop and then Jerry can't pay the rent on the Death Star and of course Romo will leak that extortion video, and then.......

Jerry buys high and sells low, so now wouldn't be a good time to get rid of Hanna.

Witten intentionally overset to the inside. I see that concept in this blocking scheme often where blockers have a primary responsibility and a secondardy responsibility. His primay was "don't get beat inside" and his secondary was "do what you can once the defender jumps back outside".

A DL or LB is who you cut based on who you pick up.
