That situation was beyond obvious, romo stopped Garrett from calling the timeout. Go watch it, there is absolutely no denying it.

But I know how this goes, it's the offseason for us again so Garrett gets turned into something he is clearly not because the team is not playing and people forget about all the little mistakes.

That is an insane way to say Garrett does not have a problem in this department.

My point is that he is NOT horrendous on game management. They ALL have issues. If Garrett needs to improve, AND HE DOES, there are other areas more important than the one most people are constantly carping about.

I've always said he sucks as an OC. That stuff is just icing.

Now Payton? He can coach and would make Garrett look silly.

Uh no.

He is a qualified head coach who has worked under good ones and taken his lumps on his way up the ladder. He has been a position coach, coordinator and then head coach. He has been hired and fired and won big and lost big.

Sean Payton in no way is comparable to differ in that analogy, that would actually apply to billick or switzer or one of these other along for the ride coaches.

Payton not only is as good as there is in his profession but he made one of the best and most gutsiest calls in the Super Bowl which played a huge part in winning the game when they recovered the onside kick. It was an all time play.

another thing about Payton, he is not a yes man and he does not throw his players under the bus to save his own rear end.

Don't think he ever fired his brother because he was told to either which is a very sad thing.

Uhh what? Belichick rebuilt that browns team into an excellent team. On top of that he put together an incredible coaching staff. He trained Ozzie newsome in that gm position while he was there. Belichick was a two time Super Bowl champion defensive coordinator of one of the better defenses in the history of the league. The win over the bills was one of the best defensive games ever in the postseason, I believe the gameplay is in the hall of fame is it not?

Garrett was the qb coach for a team with terrible qb play in Miami before coming here, so I can see why to you it's exactly the same.

If you handed bill belichick a team with ware, witten and a franchise qb like romo in Cleveland he would have won right away.

So silly these belichick comparisons. I imagine you never watched a second of those browns teams and just look at stat sheets and records.

When Garrett gets bounced after next season he will leave this organization a mess because of his yes man attitude and lack of a plan and a vision of how to build a team.
