Uhh what? Belichick rebuilt that browns team into an excellent team. On top of that he put together an incredible coaching staff. He trained Ozzie newsome in that gm position while he was there. Belichick was a two time Super Bowl champion defensive coordinator of one of the better defenses in the history of the league. The win over the bills was one of the best defensive games ever in the postseason, I believe the gameplay is in the hall of fame is it not?

Garrett was the qb coach for a team with terrible qb play in Miami before coming here, so I can see why to you it's exactly the same.

Your post is so naive it's not funny.

If you handed bill belichick a team with ware, witten and a franchise qb like romo in Cleveland he would have won right away.

So silly these belichick comparisons. I imagine you never watched a second of those browns teams and just look at stat sheets and records.

When Garrett gets bounced after next season he will leave this organization a mess because of his yes man attitude and lack of a plan and a vision of how to build a team.

LOL... OMG No, just no.
You should probably do a little reading before you start talking outta your rear end.
You JG haters are getting pretty creative. Kudos.
How many years did it take Landry to build a winner? What was Jimmy Johnsons record after his first 3? Hmmm Let the excuses fly, brotha!!

BTW, if JG isnt "bounced after next season" will you leave?
I hope so because youre going to be just as wrong next year as you were this year.

Jesus now your comparing him to Landry and Johnson?

And would I go? Go where? Who the hell are you, I live here and I am a season ticket holder. If I recall you don't even live in the market.

And again, if Landry or jimmy took over a team with talent in a down division with a franchise qb they would have won immediately. Landry, Johnson and belichick all would have won with the teams garret has, not Super Bowls but the division and probably a couple of playoff games.

But if you want to compare what Garrett was handed to the expansion team Landry was handed, or the 1-15 old Dallas team jimmy was handed or the 3-13 old browns team belichick took over...well that says a lot about you.

Stop comparing Garrett to absolute legends in the sport who innovated the game and won multiple Super Bowls. It's plain silly.

I dont give a flip where you go. I just asked if youd go away to save yourself the misery.... IDK perhaps your neverending complaining is therapeutic or something.

Stop comparing Cowboys coaches to Cowboys coaches? Strong logic there, I expect nothing less.

So Garrett was handed a team full of HOF players and the others guys got scrubs? Gotcha.

People are actually bringing up Payton to dodge the fact that Garrett is clueless? Yes, everyone makes mistakes, but Garrett is known for this stuff, and has nothing but mediocrity to defend himself with. It's gotten to the point where his franchise QB is yelling at his face while doing his job for him.

Payton screwed the pooch today. Even the best of coaches do it now and then. Our problem is a mediocre game day coach that never seems to learn.

Colts punt down 3 TD's with 10:00 to go in the game, the defense has not stopped the Patriots, and they needed less than a yard. Pagano is an idiot. :)

Yeah, I dont think he had much faith in getting the first down. I dont know if Pagano is an idiot but that team had a very strange season. Got murdered by the Rams and Cardinals badly.... yet beat the Seahawks, Broncos and Chiefs (KC twice)
They are looking nice with Luck for the future.

I was actually just making another Garrett comparison. What if Garrett made the same decision? After all, Pagano is a genius, the Colts made the playoffs.

lulz, we already know what would happen if JG made that decision... or if he decided to go for it and not make it.

They made it twice with 1st/2nd year coaching and the same at QB. But let's wait for them to make mistakes and compare it to our situation. Very sad. I forgot, Landry lost a lot early too. Y'all are comical.

That and I was really surprised that Seattle threw a pass on first down with little over 3 minutes left and incompletion killed the clock, with having a lead when they should have ran the ball to eat the clock, to me, that was a bad call.

It's a bad call if it doesn't work. If he throws a pick six he and the coaches are goats. If he hands it off and its fumbled then they're still goats. But in the main you should try to run the clock out. IMO the game has changed so much you have to look at the short passing game as a run. Both keep the clock going.

You guys just continue to miss the point. Maybe on purpose, who knows? The point is that all of the histrionics over Garrett's supposed clock management issues are silly. All the guys the forum complainers union would put their stock in, demonstrate that they have the exact same issues, if not worse. I say again, if Garrett doesn't go for it, 4th and less than a yard, down 3 TD's with 10:00 to go in the game, the union would have a hissy fit, GUARANTEED.

No you're missing the point. These coaches are better coaches. They've led their team into the playoffs and in this case had a team that had the worst record in the league beforehand. It's embarrassing that some fans here try and take successful people, take one instance and say "see, they do it too." Obviously it doesn't take 4 years of processes to be successful. Please stop making excuses. It makes the fan base look pathetic and uninformed.

Sir, the embarrassment is found in individuals who do not know (apparently) how to allow a point to speak to what it speaks to, only what it speaks to, and then interact with the point. The embarrassment is found when a fan base does not know how to understand an argument or willfully rejects it without having a good answer in response to it.. I'm comfortable with where I stand in that process.

Then explain the point clearly. Your posts look like an excuse. They look like they are saying, "if Garrett did this, he would get killed by the fans." That is an excuse for his continuous management of games. I've seen it about 2 coaches this weekend and multiple players. It's pathetic to compare teams and coaching situations when we are sitting home, I don't care how you broach it. You're trying to tell people Pogano gets a free pass, but the reality is, he doesn't have a history of making the same decisions. When you do something over and over the rep sticks. Especially when you are sitting at home because of it. Thus Garrett not getting a break and Pogano getting a little slide.
