Very proud of Rush and what he's done to keep this team in the playoff race. However, this wasn't a good game and those almost ints in the other games turned into a bunch of ints in this one unfortunately.

Cheers to Rush though for his contributions!

shame because he had a legit shot to ceedee and woujdve sent his legend into overdrive

The one positive is we got down by 20 points in the first half and still made a game of it with a backup QB who had three turnovers. At least we didn’t give up and kept fighting. We need to get Dak back and see if we can get our offense going.

I’m appreciative for how well he’s played over the last month and believe he had a big hand in saving our season, but his limitations have been clear, his heroics exaggerated for agenda, and his performance trending down with every start. anyone who has even a single objective bone in their body saw this coming a mile away
We’ve known it for several years now. Well most of us.

The Rush you saw tonight was pretty much the same Rush you saw last game except it was covered up by a mindblowingly great defensive performance. Rush is what he is, which is a guy that can reliably get you to around 20pts per game, especially if the run game is taking off. In a game where the team gets behind early is where you will start to see his limitations.

As many have stated throughout this run.. at some point the defense is going to give up more than 20 points and the offense is going to have to answer. Many of us have always thought it would be a challenge to do so with Rush at the helm. I will echo those who applaud his efforts and thank him for saving our season.. He could have gone all Brad Johnson/Brandon Weeden on us and we'd be looking forward to the draft by now. Golf flap for ya Coop.. now go git yer ballcap and clipboard.. Or is it a Microsoft Surface they carry nowadays?
RonnieT24......Cooper Rush kept us afloat and exceeded expectations or the stars just lined up perfectly. But most of us saw this a mile away. Can't cover up the arm strength, but film over time tells defenses all they need to know. The clock struck 12 for Cooper. To his credit, Cooper Rush didn't declare himself "The Man". I'd simply suggest some quit believing everything Skip Bayless says out his mouth.

Little bit of an exaggeration . . . Was He exposed by a 6-0 team? Yes . . . But clock struck 12 implies He is finished . . . Done . . . Of no value.

If left to be the starting QB the rest of the year He would win us a ton of games

If He were to be the QB in the rematch . . . He may led this team to a victory . . . He still had us fighting.

Clock has not struck 12

No most of us didn’t see this some of us did. This front page was littered with BS about Rush keeping the team and keep Dak out rush is winning
Of course most of that yacking came about 10 vocal trolls

see above^^ perfect example of dumb take about 2 post up

NotForLong.....I am implying that the expectations have ceased that Cooper Rush can be a regular starter at QB. He is a backup for a reason, and it showed more glaringly against the Eagles. It has been masked at bit in recent weeks because we were winning. All you need to do is look at the throws and the yardarge. Nobody is asking him to sling for 400 yards, but he is limited. This a PSA for some on this board and Skip Bayless. Hats off to Cooper Rush, but he ain't a starting QB. If you didn't see that, I don't know what to tell you other than perhaps paying a visit to the local optometrist. Nothing personal.

Rush did an excellent job in his start and almost won this game if he would have made better decisions. Dak needs to learn a lot from his game management style and incorporate into his.

Yeah but Dak will will bring us to the promise land like last season vs a good defense of the 49ers. Or the broncos. Or this season vs Tampa.
The team around him might be good enough to make a run this year. We held the two SB participants to 27 total points, and have given up 7 TD's in 6 games. This might not be the best overall team we have had since 96, but it probably has the best chance to make a run in January

Once we got down by two scores he was in over his head.

Shannon Sharp always preaches, let’s see you get behind by 2 scores with Rush and see what type of QB he is. He was very correct. Now it is up too Dak to take us home from here with no excuses.

He went 4-1 after Dak got hurt and I think everyone here would've taken that if offered after the Tampa Bay game and Dak's injury.

He did his job, as a backup QB, as well as anyone could've hoped. Time for the starter to come back and be the player he's paid to be. We'll see.

I would have for sure:
I would have felt even better if that "1" came to the Bengals and not the Eagles though lol

He couldn't have done a better job. But tonight showed why he's a backup. He was in over his skillset.

That arm strength, accuracy issue is a big deal.

He has hardly enough velocity for college, much less pros.

That said, I'm glad we have him, because he's a great bus driver and backup. I just want Dak back.. I think we win tonight with Dak.
his arm strength or lack thereof was obvious tonight. all his throws need to be short quick throws, anything to the outside and down field was painfully slow, I mean for one of the throws I went to the kitchen, made a sandwich, realized I didn't have mustard, made a run to the store, got two kinds of mustard, came back, took a bite and then the ball got there.....

but to everyone's point, that's why he is a back up.....

and teams have enough tape and now they figured him out, force him on long throws, take away the short quick throws. and interceptions are a real possibility

Really bad game for Cooper Rush, the game plan did not help him but no excuse for those throws.
the eagles forced our hands. now, there is tape on him and DCs have figured it out. he doesn't have the arm strength so any long throws gives defense a good chance and so the eagles focused on taking away the quick throws and the short game as much as possible and force him into long side line throws. he refused to go down field and the couple of times he did, was bad. and then his inaccuracies showed up in obvious passing situations where defense played tight.

he is what he is. good solid back up. did his job. didn't lose games, except last night. allowed defense and run game to carry the team. if he would have had one interception as opposed to three, we might have had much better chance. bad offensive game planning unlike the previous 4 didn't help.

Of course we had an agenda which was Rush exposing Dak…. Which he was quite successful at.

Last night he did his best impression of Dak yet, looking like Dak against the Broncos, except he was able to muster a FG, while Dak had 5 completions for 75 yards and zero points and could only muster points in the board when down 30 and like 4 minutes left in the 4th..

I did say that once the NFL media and fanbase started to hype up Cooper Rush beyond what he is capable of doing as a QB, that it really wasn't going to be his fault for not being able to do or accomplish the tasks which are needed to be a consistent NFL starting QB. Yet some still insisted on making Rush out to be more than he really is.

I still appreciate him for doing enough to get the Cowboys to 4 wins while Dak was out.

Rush played like Prescott last night. He didn't produce until the game was out of reach, then made a comeback attempt that looked decent but was too little, too late.
Last night he was no better than Dak.
