I assume Dak will be back next week, but if for some reason Rush has to play I feel confident in him and this team to do the job. This team is still in good shape at 4-2 and now it is time for Dak to come in and help this team win games.

Rush played like Prescott last night. He didn't produce until the game was out of reach, then made a comeback attempt that looked decent but was too little, too late.
Last night he was no better than Dak.
dak would 100% win that game last night. he always dominates the Eagles. 3 turnovers, noodle arm exposed. I mean on one of the throws, I went to the kitchen, made a sandwich, realized I didn't have mustard, so ran to the store, got two kinds of mustard, got a beer and came back, took a bite from the awsome sandwich, just in time to see the ball getting almost intercepted....I mean really, it was in super slow motion, but then the announcers said it was real time

and btw, he did great emulation of Dalton, trying to hit side of the barn and missing the barn....

It did seem familiar, back Dak has more zip on when overthrowing WRs

I’m appreciative for how well he’s played over the last month and believe he had a big hand in saving our season, but his limitations have been clear, his heroics exaggerated for agenda, and his performance trending down with every start. anyone who has even a single objective bone in their body saw this coming a mile away
Now we just play smart on offense with Dak. No need to hero ball anything.
The league has kind of shifted.. Defense and running game are back.

You could see it coming over the last 2 weeks honestly. Game 1 and 2 from him were impressive for sure but 3 and 4 were all defensive wins

The big difference is that Rush tried to produce early, but even then the refs didn't give him credit.
But you'll enjoy Dak being back and last night was just to remind you what it's like.

He couldn't have done a better job. But tonight showed why he's a backup. He was in over his skillset.

That arm strength, accuracy issue is a big deal.

He has hardly enough velocity for college, much less pros.

That said, I'm glad we have him, because he's a great bus driver and backup. I just want Dak back.. I think we win tonight with Dak.
exactly i agree mad respect for him keeping us on track all those batted balls where a DB is getting a break on the route is 100% lack of zip , they are slow to get out there and most throws look like lobs, it typical for backup. he allowed many tight window passes to be batted down, tipped up and or intercepted...

He also, missed some W/O over the middle routes and took the easier throws ..
Dak may not be elite nut he for sure has an NFL arm and has 7-2 or better record against the east,..he dismantled the eagles last year and still haters all over the internet are making excuses for Rushes mistakes and saying Dak would have lost by more LOL they wont let it go..the haters snow blame the penalties and Wrs and paly calls vs the lay fo the qb.. hypocrisy.

This game reminds me of when “MVP” Dak in 2019 put up 10 pts against the Saints, and then followed it up with 3 picks against GB and padded his stats after it 31-10 going into the 4th. And then proceeded to get outplayed by Sam Darnold and the Jets, putting up another meaningless TD in garbage time, as the “GOAT” could only muster FGs despite Zeke rushing for over 100 yards on over 5 YPC.

Its funny how Dak-Stan’s constantly re-write narratives in this era.

I mean at least Rush has yet to accomplish two pick 6s in a single game like Dak did in his 19th career start against a 5-11 Denver team when we lost 42-17 and Dak got outplayed by Trevor Sieman, who is probably worse than Cooper Rush.

So hopefully now that Dak is back you can go back to rooting for the Eagles?
It's been great to see the Cowboys play the way they are supposed to play for 5 games. It brought back old, but good memories.
But even I have to admit that if Cooper Rush is going to emulate Dak like he did last night, the Cowboys I knew and loved are gone.
So I probably won't watch much football, other than to keep an eye open for a miracle- in the hopes that one day the Cowboys will find a real quarterback and a real run defense.

If you enjoyed winning scoring less than 20 points have at it. But don’t get mad at the defense because they can’t play over their heads all game just to justify Rush’s play.

Y’all have to be the same poster or you’re unoriginal……now Rush reminds you of Dak man please go sit down lol. Your emotions have clouded your judgement.

Rush last night played like Dak did when Zeke was suspended, except Dak couldn’t even put up double digits against any winning team during that six game stretch.

What we saw from Cooper Rush is what we all saw of him in preseason. Remember when a lot of you wanted him cut then and the backup job to go to Grier? Yeah I'm petty because I remember that.

That’s basically what this game amounts too for Rush. It was like a typical Dak game when he’s in his “annual slump”, but he has better zip on his errant throws which makes it harder to pick off, because it’s sailing 6 feet over the head of the DB.
