Fair enough I don’t necessarily agree with everything you said but not enough to debate over it
Sounds good.

I wasn't looking for a debate either in my original comment. Just sayin....I'm weary of the "Cooper did good ...but...."

We can;t just say "cooper did good". Especially given post first game comments.

shame because he had a legit shot to ceedee and woujdve sent his legend into overdrive
I think the rushing lineman had a little of something to do with that fail. Plus the fact that Rush doesn't have the arm strength to pull that off in that situation. Was a wide open receiver that was their for the taken.

4-1 without him says Dak IS expendable.

I expect 35 PPG now from Dak and at least leading us to 4 straight wins to match our record with Cooper Rush this season. Anything less is a failure.

He once again has gotten injured and became this mythological character while sitting on the sidelines and he will, once again, shrink and fail to live up to your hype. It's the Dak way.
You said he would take Dak’s spot. Dak sucks but now you want 35 ppg you are a sad little man lol….

I think Most teams would take a QB w a 5 wins to 1 lost record
Most teams should be smart to learn how they got to be 5-1. If they are not good at it, they will eventually fail and make wrong decisions

So did we win because of QB or despite him?

And it ver obvious you are giving the QB credit for wins, so perhaps in your opinion Wins/losses are a QB stat.....

Ok then, so if doesn't get 300 to 450 yards per ga.e then it's no good.

Let me check who had those type of stats over a season and I will get back to ya
For Dak, no. He's getting paid top money, he needs to produce wins. No excuses.... He's had 6 yrs of no post season...... Next!

Going forward:
I predict Dak will be Dak. If the momentum is going in the Cowboys favor, he will have some good stats. The Cowboys will win some easy games.
But Dak will still be Dak. If the momentum is against the Cowboys, Dak will struggle. There will be three-and-outs, errant passes, and opposing teams getting big leads. This is my prediction.
But according to his fans, the Cowboys should easily win out. If they don't, then Dak's fans need to explain why not.

2016,2018,2020,2021 those were all post season so you’re comment is garbage now if you meant post season success which I think you did I can buy that

of course then that whole discussion about this being a team game that’s been beat to death

"out of line" might be too strong of a word.

I have been taking some issue with people that feel the need to crusade against Cooper Rush "starter" capabilities. Many of these same people that were waiting for THIS game...an underwhelming loss...were the same people that wanted to tank the season after the first game.

I'm not telling people how to post or what to say. But...I WOULD like to see us fans just simply give Cooper Rush the credit he deserves for proving everyone wrong...possibly saving our season- AGAINST VERY GOOD TEAMS!. Sure...his stats aren't MVP...but the result could be, if Dak has a strong return.

Any other comments about starter is just bickering chest thumping...and takes away from the accomplishment.

It's just my opinion...no big deal.
He wasn't flashy by any stretch, but did his job, and did it well.

So wins are a qb stat? Just trying to gauge things as it changes rather frequently in here.

so if they are on the qb alone he’s 1-3 if not then the team is

If Dak does do it, then there will probably be "The Lions have a bad defense so it doesn't count." takes coming from Dak critics. And even if the Cowboys offense does put up 30+ points a game with Dak, there's going to be a lot of "stat padding" and "garbage time" snide remarks coming from his critics.

The reality is that qb does get credit for wins and loses. You hear it every game day and every sports show in between.
Its not just for dak.
