You start on a real topic and follow along on syntax.

Keep up with your non-topic and nothing boyish insulting.

lame ducks cartoon with lame congress duck and the caption Lame Congress Duck- by R. J. Matson

You are a lame duck unable to respond to pictures. I never had that problem especially as a Cowboys fan.

When all that is done by yourself, is insult...one, misses a lot of humor. And takes it all to heart. Now say that is a lie.

One is a first person pronoun, not second person that is a step-son of yours.
For the benefit of Dallas East! Best not admit to not understanding...that would verge upon intended intimidation. Anyone walking around afraid?

“Hello?” Edwards poignantly said in a way Lionel Richie himself would applaud. “You play to win the game. You don’t just play it to play it. That’s the great thing about sports. You play to win. And I don’t care if you don’t have any wins. You go play to win.”
Edwards’ statement and overall mindset as a coach seemed to make an impact on his team. The Jets went on a winning streak following that infamous presser, even making the playoffs.

7 not in the lineup...and that bounds forward, but here is that presented:

Contrary to popular belief, signing superstar players to big deals rarely gets an NFL team in trouble. No matter what the Cowboys front office tries to say, there’s always room for talent under the salary cap.

Good players who meet or exceed the expectations of their contract are value-added, pure and simple. They take on a bigger proportion of the cap, but they also often take heavier snap counts and make bigger contributions. Teams can save money in rotations and at other positions if highly paid players simply live up to their billing.

Best of all, superstars are usually no brainers. Dak Prescott was an obvious re-signing this past summer. CeeDee Lamb was also an obvious re-signing this past summer. Micah Parsons and Tyler Smith will be obvious re-signings in the near future, while DaRon Bland and DeMarvion Overshown are trending to be obvious re-signings soon after. Health permitting, they will all be well worth the price of doing business.

The lesson to be learned is sub-superstar contracts that involve speculation are far riskier than max-level contracts that simply demand health and a continued level of play. The Cowboys have a poor track record when it comes to speculating the future of their own midlevel performers and it’s come back to bite them over and over again.

Does this mean the death of midlevel contracts going forward?

Possibly. With so many star players set to make star money, the Cowboys may just round out their roster with rookie contracts and bargain bin pickups. It could mean non-superstar players like Osa Odighizuwa, Chauncey Golston and Rico Dowdle (all pending free agents in 2025) are too expensive and/or risky to bring back.

Steele was a losing resigning as was Gallup. He represents $4,350,000 in dead money this season and a team-leading $8,700,000 in 2025.

There is way too much that can be worked to provide for Osa, Golston, Lawrence, and Lewis.

First off, the foundation for a good franchise is getting to the playoffs. That is the selective basis for respect of the sport being played.

This is on the professional level and the base of respect is that almost all on a team, deserves the respect for being eligible to play at that level.

I look for positive elements and state reference of team building concepts that reflect the positive...first.

I'm not a fan who starts with the insults if the team doesn't achieve a Lombardi. If they are playing the sport and sacrificing to achieve...myself, I'm not going to just insult for positive perspectives that are respected in leadership and team.

12 wins all about a donut selection? Sorry, this is a sport. A strong one that pays participants very well on the social scales.

If MM doesn’t grab both of these last 2 that’s 2 losing seasons out of 5 with no real playoff success to measure other then forcing Brady into retirement earlier then he wanted . One playoff win to hang your hat on .

I wasn’t thrilled with the hire when it happened even less so now . You on the other hand obviously are thinking an extension is warranted. That’s your right . It’s looking more and more thsts where this is going I just hope Jerry doesn’t go past 3 yrs .

No, many of this season's problems beyond injury, which could not be overcome over a whole season, rests on the lack of focused discipline his team featured and derailed success. His Red Zone failure and falling behind almost every first half and disappearing the second half he posses.

Actually I feel the team loyalty exists due to Jerry protections and interactions...not his Coach.

A quality CB will not be dropped. Lawrence was rated with Parsons, as the top pair of defensive ends in the start of this season. This current set of defensive ends is very deep as well as strong. Williams and the players still playing will provide 6 very strong players for the defensive line.

Overshown will be back and there hasn't been a complaint on his commitment beyond loose lips sinking the fan ship.

Martin still is respected. Retirement is his call.

Consider this rationalization?

Current Cap $23 mm
Steele cut $14mm
Dak savings $36mm
Safeties cut $8mm
CD savings $20mm
Micah extention$15mm
Diggs restructure $6mm

Saved $122mm

Much more is very doable for the Cowboys. They aren't bound by some fan's pessimism.
We are definitely bound by GM Jethro's incompetence.

Unlike yourself, I'll make my own comments and not for your agenda...Jerry has three Lombardis and is already in the Hall of Fame.

You, talk crap while every just really waits to jump right out for that crap. Right.

Is The Lion The Key?

Most of the pass rushing damage done by the Cowboys defense has come in recent weeks, and I don’t think the reason could be any more obvious. Since returning from a high ankle sprain, Micah Parsons leads the NFL in nearly every pass-rushing stat.

Parsons missed games versus Pittsburgh, Detroit, San Francisco, and Atlanta. In those four games, the Cowboys went 1-3 and generated 11 sacks, a 2.75 sack per game average. In eight games since Parsons’ return, the Cowboys sack per game average shot up to 3.5 sacks per game.

In that same span, Parsons has recorded 8.0 of his 9.5 sacks on the season, leading the NFL in pressure rate since his return. Parsons has been rushing the passer from both sides of the formation, finding success despite not having a bona fide pass rusher opposite him.

Parsons and the Cowboys have one more game to add to their sack total before packing it in for the offseason.

Lawrence became a Cowboy on a second round draft pick!
Instead, last year they drafted DE Marshawn Kneeland in the 2nd round, and felt confident with the position for 2025.

Disaster struck in training camp when projected starter Sam Williams went down with a torn ACL, ending his 2024 season before it even started. Defensive captain DeMarcus Lawrence was lost to a foot injury just four games into the season, and never returned to the field. Kneeland suffered a knee injury and missed six games before returning to the lineup.

Micah Parsons also suffered a high ankle sprain and missed four games. DC Mike Zimmer made it happen with journeymen like Carl Lawson and Carlos Watkins mixed with versatile players like Chauncey Golston.

The defensive out side is able to control rates this next season.

Carl Lawson, Osa, and Miza Smith mixed with either a free agent or strong draft pick should make the line dependable in 2025.

As to the draft, they can really draft who it is they want.
