Tagruato - the company that owns "slusho" having an oil rig taken down two weeks before Cloverfield attacked NYC (Inference that Clovie took down station)

Tagruato oil tanker fleeing to NYC in timeframe of attack. Cloverfiels mashes a tanker at the South Port in NYC Harbor.

Jericho also has an ARG in play going into Season 2 right now. And Abrams started tagging Jericho video's with Cloverfield references. Led me there and I was hooked on the storyline.....



They had links to all the main characters on mypage.

Releasing all sorts of internet trailers of movie.

It's the next way to interactively engage fans and promote/market a storyline. I believe all this hype helped them set MLK weekend all time records.....

hiding in every other forum but the Celtics forum I see....I guess since they lost and the Spurs won, you have conveniently avoided those NBA forums you started.....the ones with the Celtics winning and the Spurs losing.....it's ok Mr. Fairweather....this is the 2nd or 3rd time I have called you out on this......thank you for proving me correct. I love viral marketing. First kind of viral marketing I ever followed was the one Rockstar started with Grand Theft Auto 3 with all the fake sites. I hope they do the same for GTA IV.

Agree - the whole online and viral marketing thing is the next wave of marketing and getting people invested in a "product" Movie, TV series, Game - etc

Cloverfield nailed the 20 someting and younger crowd HUGE with this. I believe Abrams has done this with Lost in the past also....

I actually get EXTREMELY pissed off and need to take some time off before I vent after a tough loss. Dang Raptors shot near 75% from 3's and damn Paul Pierce is starting to hurt us late in games doing 2006 flashback, he has to win the game bs. Didn't even notice Spurs won - attaboy

could care less about this movie....i dont like movies with jumpy cameras.......that is why i didnt like bourne supremacy and havent seen bourne ultimatum. Those movies hurt my eyes and give me a headache.

First person movies are not for the weak stomach types. Sorry to hear you don't like that Genre. Cloverfield is a smashing hit - BTW

Just saw it and I liked it much more than I thought I would. The only thing that bugged me was the camera dude cracking corny jokes throughout the filming.

That is the kind of movie that just touches you in so many ways. Its crazy.

Rob is a bad ***. He said screw the monster! Regardless of anything Rob won the fight!

I enjoyed the movie,not because of the action, but because of the internal storyline between the guy and the girl and the interlacing of the two periods - the attack and the Day at Coney Beach.
