All these wrestling threads seem to be about favorite heels and what-not. And the actual matches were always pretty run of the mill if it wasnt on PPV.

Yes he has a nice career going in the movies...he makes action movies and the Disney kid stuff. I don't think Pacino is losing sleep over losing a part to Rock but he does make alot of money..his movies do as well for the most part I think. He got out of wrestling at the perfect time for him.

If you're a professional wrestling fan, guru, or critic, you'd be silly to make that comment.

Don't think for a second that Vince McMahon is not thankful the Rock fell into his lap (seeing as Rocky Johnson was part of the roster and Dwayne hung out with his dad throughout the years).

I guarantee if you ask everyone in the locker room that they will say The Rock is one of the best things to ever happen to the WWE and wrestling in general.

I'm curious as to what you mean by him being overrated. As a in-ring performer? No, he's not Kurt Angle or Dean Malenko as far as being the most technical wrestler, but you are mistaken if you think that makes a superstar in professional wrestling.

It's about entertainment and there is/was nobody better at it than the Rock.

Judging by your posts (about guys that will never be any higher than mid-card status), you would be better suited to watch the real stuff.

His wallet, and the people hiring him and making money off the movies he's in would disagree.

He can make 10 million or more a movie, or whatever it is he makes, and that is about 3 times the amount he'd make wrestling 300+ days a year.

His criteria and logic when it comes to wrestling has been proven to be so far off, so many times, that it's not even worth debating with him. The sooner everyone puts him on ignore, where he's talking to himself, the better. Then he'll go back to the 'wrestling forums' where the lemmings all agree with him.

Don't get me wrong I'm all for people liking different things and having different tastes. But I prefer people with actual opinions, and not something some forum or wrestling magazine told them was the truth, than someone who comes in here acting like everything he says and 'knows' is fact cause PWI Insider told him so.

Roy is a much better poster, and someone I enjoy discussing this with, and we don't necassarily agree on everything.

The Rock's movies go TO THE MOVIES. Austin's movies go directly to DVD. Outside The Expendables (Probably spelled that wrong) which went to the theatre cause of Stalone and some of the other guys.
