Why not just be completely transparent and say "I HATE CMIKE"? It would help those out there that don't already know what I now.

This has to be eating away at you and a few others on this board that gobbled up every ounce of this load of SBBC that the FO tried to sell us. I was never fooled & now, thanks to a bye week epiphany, we will finally see a running alignment that will net consistent results. I'm all geared up for the debut of our new stronger rushing attack.

I bet our oline is too..... But we won't go there.

I HATE CMIKE... dadgum that felt good.

I'll just say we'll have to agree to disagree. By most accounts, Weeden had opportuntities, but did not take them and I think Cassel will take opportunities. That will likely mean a lower completion percentage and more turnovers, but it likely means a more productive offense. As far as running the ball goes, this offensive line works better with a RB that wears teams down punishes defenders. Randle does not do that, Michael looks like he can be that type of guy.

Hey, you said it... low completion percentage and more turnovers. That does not translate to more productivity. I hate CMike so we will just have to wait and see what he brings. I don't see the offense doing anything.

Oh absolutely you get credit. No question there. I've been wrong before and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Gee thanks... now I'm going to just feel that much worse for being right. :(

Like I said before, it really depends on 2 huge factors: Which Matt Cassel shows up (e.g. the Matt Cassel who replaced Tom Brady or the Matt Cassel of the Vikings era) and rather or not the Cowboys defense can back up the recent hype. If Matt Cassel can complete passes all around the field, CMike will have a field day. Hell, you name the running back, and there's good chance they would have a good day. I'm not necessarily saying the running back doesn't matter...he absolutely does...but, if you can't complete passes down the field and the oppositions defense is looking for short passes and/or the run, not too many running backs are going to have success (in fact, AP is the only running back in recent memory that can make that work). So CMike's success quite literally hinges on the Cowboys getting something going in the passing game with intermediate to deep completions. EIther way, though, I really would be shocked if the Giants were able to shut the Cowboys completely out...the Giants might win, all things considered...but keeping the Cowboys off the scoreboard would be a surprise.

BTW. Why the hate? Do you know him personally?

My expectation is that the passing will improve, the OL run blocking will improve, Hanna will return and improve the TE blocking which will all lead to improved running. C-Mike will benefit from all of these other improvements, but the C-Mike cult will claim that all improvement were due to C-Mike playing more snaps.

Hanna's absence is a very understated absence X. He hasn't been healthy at all this season. If I recall correctly he was hurt in the preseason or training camp. If he is healthy, his blocking ability will be welcomed for sure.

Would you rather have an 1,800 yard RB who fumbles from time to time or the garbage RBs we've seen this season who hold onto the ball? I'm not saying CMike will be Murray. I'm just saying I need to see a spark in the running game.

How do you hate someone who's never been given an opportunity? Geez at least give him a chance to fail before you label him a failure

And in particular passes to the WR'ers.

He sucks, hasn't earned a chance. Doesn't even belong on the roster... just a huge waste of time. Cut immediately!

Do you actually watch football or just look at who won? Right now, every QB except Ben Rothlisberger (75.3%) and Tony Romo (75%) have a lower completion percentage than Weeden (72%) and is 27th in interceptions despite playing most of the year. Any QB who we bring in, even if we traded for Tom Brady, he would almost certainly throw for a lower percentage and more ints, but this is not the reason Weeden sucks. He sucks, because he puts no pressure on a defense and they do not have to defend all parts of the field. He checks down and throws underneath a ton, which does not lead to more running room for the backs or one on ones for the recievers.

Likely to happen, but I still think regardless of success, a back like Mike is a better fit.

Dude its like talking to a brick wall with some of our fellow fans.

Neener neener. I heard he sucked in Seattle. Neener neener. He won't help us. Neener neener.

And it isn't like we against the RBBC went into FA calling for ChrisMike
A few wanted to keep Murray
Some wanted Ingram, Mathews, Gore, Spiller
Then the target was AD
Then CJ2K, Ray Rice
One guy called for DMC

Then we wanted Gurley, Gordon(some), Yeldon, Coleman, Ajayi
Then Rawls and Gus Johnson

Then we wanted Forte
Then rumblings of CMike, MBall, J Gray

Pretty anyone but DMC with Randle leading the way.
