A 3rd long snapper is more important than Matt Johnson at this point. I'm just glad that Matt Johnson didn't stop them from looking at other guys like Hamilton or Wilcox. He's been a waste of a draft pick, money and camp rostor spot. I'm not knocking the organization for looking at him. He had some nice measurables. But its time to move on from him.

They've already "paid" for him. There was a cost to keeping him on IR. There is virtually no cost for keeping him until the end of training camp. Cutting him now would be stupid.
