Although I believe him, but has a coach ever said it was a bad training camp?
We've had near perfect training camps under Wade, mimiun injuries -full partcipation and under achieve in the regular seaon. So who knows. I'm starting to believe more, we might have enough pieces together to do some real damage. Do you feel me?

You gotta love how past season's have affected fans so much that every positive thing said may be a lie.

I've noticed that the injuries have occured in practices rather than in games. To me that seems to be a good indicator that the practices are intense enough that players are getting hurt but they are holding up in games. It sounds weird and maybe I'm not saying it right but this isn't your Wade Phillips practices anymore.

Agree, I too think it may be an indicator. Arrow pointing up, two weeks ago it was nose diving.

I agree. Can't change the past can only work on making the future better. I agree no coach will say that their camp sucked.

Fact is Cowboys have had a lot of guys missing time, the upside is coaches have been able to take a longer look at some guys who needed more time.

There are still question marks on OL largely because the entire starting unit has yet to play a single game with each other. Other question marks from last year look much brighter with the play of the secondary including very aggressive play among the safeties.

People can sit and dwell on negitives in areas or positives in areas but as far as I'm concerned the key is getting this group of players playing like a team and doing it for 4 qrts, they do that they will win more than they lose.

Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys rollercoaster. He says outstanding camp, and someone, somewhere says, "Jason said we are going to the Super Bowl!" While we hope an outstanding camp will translate to that, my expectations have the Cowboys as a possible Wild Card into the Play Offs. If you are hoping for more than that at this point, you are likely setting yourself up for disappointment.

Right now I'm just hoping to beat the Giants.

I'm positive on the upcoming season, however, I can't blame folks for not believing the Cowboys coach or front-office. As a rule, ALL nfl front-offices and coaches lie nearly all the time about nearly everything.

It also seems like they practice hard, and then pull players out quickly if they have nagging muscle problems. Things Parcels would almost certainly be having the guys play through. There's been a conscious effort to establish tempo and expectations with healthy players, and to develop depth when players get knicked.

There's a tradeoff, then, when starters miss out on reps, but overall, the players who've been sitting can afford the time off, and the players getting reps need the time to develop. It'll be interesting to see if it pays off with a team that's in desperate need of depth beyond the starting 22.

Jason Garrett isn't often one for hyperbole. I think we did have a strong camp. I really liked what I heard about Romo, Bryant, Murray on offense. On defense people are suggesting that Ware has had his best training camp. Victor Butler, and Jason Hatcher were also very productive. I'm exciting for the Giants game.

I'd say 'outstanding' is maybe his favorite word. Followed closely by 'opportunity' and the by 'challenge.' Honestly, if he said the camp were anything other than 'outstanding' I'd have been flabbergasted. Though I do think the camp sounds like it was really productive and well-organized.

I believe the Cowboys are headed in the right direction. I believe the Cowboys will win at least 10 games this year. That's where my belief ends and my hopes begin.

Because there was lots of processing and stacking. :p:

At the end of the day, it's the process of stacking that matters.
