And any praise that comes from the fan-proclaimed QB "guru" McCarthy means about as much as any praise from Cap Boy.
Mike McCarthy's input is meaningless. Jerry Jones did not go Lone Wolf, negotiate with the 49ers and trade a 4th rounder for Trey Lance in order for him not to either: a) backup Dak Prescott (most likely outcome) or b) push Prescott for the starting position (less likely outcome for 2024).

Mike Hohensee can be the second coming of Tony Romo. Unless a series of injuries sideline Prescott, Lance and/or Cooper Rush, Hohensee has less than zero odds of playing any down in 2024. Lance has Jones' secondary support behind Prescott on this team, not Hohensee. And McCarthy does not run the roster like a head coach normally should. Jones does.

He (dak) has fully done his part to contribute to that dysmal playoff record. As The Leader, he should get and expect the criticism, and find ways to help fix it.
I hope we agree thats a large part of leadership.
Dak certainly contributed but he’s been dealing with zero running game and a defense made of wet tissue. Mahomes couldn’t win in the playoffs with those issues either.

LOL, Lex you must have seen this Lifetime movie before?
Commands the huddle is akin to going on a blind date that was described as a good personality. Nice to have but does not get to the core of the issue. This nerd will be off the team before camp starts.

You cannot be serious. Dak is dependable, if he is in the playoffs you can depend on him to fall flat on his face and take the team with him. Please, enough with Dak is a good quarterback. He still cannot throw a slant pattern that doesn't require the receiver to stop, slow down or jump way up in the air to catch the wayward loft. Dak is a C+, maybe a B- quarterback. And he gets paid like an A+.

Get rid of the bum.

The kid isn't on the team at this time. He has no contract.

Another way to phrase it is, we did well signing good UDFAs hopefully we can continue that trend.

All in perspective.
One could say that the Cowboys are the best in the league at getting and developing good UDFAs. The team is loaded with them and winning 12 games a year.

Thats fine....you aint lying. But a warrior leader excepts no excuses. If you go down, with the ship, say....then go down with pride. Well fought. But that didnt happen, so stop protecting him like your only child.

It wouldnt make much sense to talk this way of tyler or tony. They contributed to the losses too. But they are not the alpha leader.

Yes , so he will have to do very good to get a contract, get to TC , or play in PS.
I am rooting for him, would like to see him play in PS.
If any good, he would be dirt cheap, so cap boy should like him too.

Does he have position flex, and promise to "get better" after they watch film every week?

"Commanding the huddle" is one of those Dak Prescott type of compliments.

Add it to the pile with "shows heart", "good leader", and "gym rat".
Don't forget " gives back to the community".....another predictable cliche.

All these wealthy athletes have charitable foundations they use as tax shelters....show up once a year to lob frozen turkeys at the proletariat, lol

By setting up a foundation, an athlete can deduct between 40 percent and 50 percent of every dollar contributed from his or her income. So a $1 million donation means as much as a $500,000 write-off.

So wait...you ALREADY have ho over lance? That was quick!

It really is becoming obvisous this is personal...not about football.

The are many possible scenarios.
Shut it and stop with the intentionally false accusations. You're back at it again.

Hohensee has way more football experience than Lance. Go do some research before you post.
