Coach Rod has this D clicking

We aren't the Steel Curtain or the 85 Bears but we ply good team Defense. Every talking head is saying the Eagles aren't clicking I say our D was keeping them from clicking. Think about the fact we,re missing 4 key players on Defense Hardy, Ro, Gregory,and Orlando, plus we didn't have Dez and Romo missed part of the game that Eagles game would have been a MASSACRE

Considering whose missing and the way the NFL promotes offense by making next to impossible to play defence, I would say the performance over the first two weeks is a minor miracle.

We are showing to have a lot of talent.

2 games against top 10 offenses from 2014 (both supposedly improved). 19 points - 4 FGs + 1 prevent run out the clock defense scheme.

I'd say that looks a lot like money.

Rod is a great coach, but to me the biggest reason for the defense's improvement is Sean Lee moving to Will. He's been unblocked so many times in the two games so far. You've got Crawford inside occupying two blockers and nobody can get their hands on Lee. He's so good at reading plays and just swarms to the ball.

I cannot wait to see him and Rolando on the field at the same time.

It's sad because for most of Tony Romo and Jason Witten's career the defense has been below average to terrible. We may finally have an above average D and these injuries will likely derail the season.

If they can stay in striking distance of the NFC East until Romo and Dez get back, I like the Cowboys' chances to get in the playoffs. If they make the playoffs, watch out. The will be a team that nobody wants to face and I can see them winning on the road ANYWHERE.

Marinelli has always been a good coordinator. And the cowboys have done a good job of acquire talent along the line. Keep the Lb's fairly clean, & give the db's a shorter coverage window....... I'm also super happy to see the familiar 4-3 after years of watching the foreign (to us) 3-4... and the super foreign Rob Ryan debacle.

You know, I've always been Captain Positive but these injuries to Dez and now Romo are devastating. I'm pretty bummed out about this season.
