Coach Shotty is growing on me

They did a more in-depth, thorough search for Shotty's assistants than they did for hiring the head coach.

I'm convinced from what I have seen that he can be a really good CEO type coach. What worries me is that he's also calling plays. That's the part that I'm not so sure about.

Heck after 1 series many fans here will say the season’s over. Hell, half the board have already said the season’s over. The other half waits a season before making harsh judgements. The sane ones.

Its not odd, some people are better suited for some roles. He might be a better hc than he ever was as a coordinator

There's also people that believe we'll win the Super Bowl even after looking like complete dog poo poo after 8 games. Then they storm off in a huff and aren't seen until the new season starts and pepper the forum with endless Mary Sue optimism. LOL!!

Hopefully Schotty has some toughness to him and isn’t going to try and be buddies with the players. We don’t need another Wade Phillips.

Looks like his press conferences will be better. We won’t hear the same standard stuff. Call me old fashioned but I like some emotion. I like to see if he cares as much as I do. So if he sheds a tear after a game I’ll be the guy that respects that. Wade Phillips was like Santa Claus.

I’m more open to Schotty now, willing to give it a try. At first I was done but as the offseason has gone on he’s growing on me. Really looking forward to the preseason.

Let's just hope they'll actually help his cause.
