While Garrett has had many legitimate reasons/excuses for some game day ineptness over the years there has also been a track record over those same years where the excuses do not apply. I honestly cannot remember one game during his tenure as HC where we clearly won a game because we out coached/out schemed an opponent.

Well obviously you won't be watching tomorrow and your opinion on the team for the past SEVEN YEARS have been fruitless.

Notice I said "years" without giving a time frame. I was a Garrett homer but soured when I realized he was just too inexperienced to lead the team and win with a franchise QB. My opinion is based on what I have seen from Garrett and the results on the field, not some abstract idea(s) that don't lead to results.

And by the way, the sheer nature of your post/thread where you're basically wondering if Garrett can figure out a game plan to beat the Giants speaks volumes. If you're asking this question after 8 years of seeing Garret operate, then maybe you need to reassess your opinion of the man as a HC.

Hard to out scheme when one of the best QB'S and one of the best WR'S in the NFL are out for an extended amount of time. Not to mention, the O-Line has been sub par. No Scandrick, no Dunbar. That all adds up.

I know I'm talking to a brick wall, but I also know that I'm right and that you are wrong. :p

For the past 3 games, yes. But what about hte past 4 years? :D

Those are games we won by out scheming an opponent? If so, thats ONE per season on average. Im not really sure what to say . . . . . . . . . . . . .and I like many things about our HC. I think he does many things exceptionally well. Game day is an area that isnt on par with the other areas where he excels tho.

I've concluded that you're a smart person Walker. We both know that you can't take the extraordinary and make it ordinary as if it's the norm. Can't use a tsunami as an example of an evening ride.
There is something poetic in your posts.

No. Let's sensationalize and erect strawmen!

Unlike most around here I'm not a fortune teller and know that no matter what game plan they come up with it still has to be carried out by the players and the refs can't be influential.

You don't need to be a fortune teller to look at the time Garrett's been here. I mean, you've got years of evidence especially with him as HC.

But I'll ask again......if you're so confident in Garrett after all this time, then why did you start a thread titled "coaches on display?"

Oh, and blaming the refs is kind of silly, as well as the players on the team that, you know, Garrett built over the past several years.
