again we let the wrong coaches go, we should have let parcells and zimmer and let sean payton become the head coach and gibbs the def. cord.

Hire Ron Rivera away from the Bears to be Head Coach and handle the defense and bring in Norv as Asst. head coach to run the offense.

No. I'd just let Rivera run whatever he wanted.

Sign Thomas or Freeney in the offseason and line them opposite Ware in the 4-3. Rotate Spears, Canty, Ratlif and Fergie in the middle and use all 4 on short yardage or "run" downs some.

Rotate Carp and Hatcher in @ LB and DE to keep people fresh.

Draft or sign starting caliber FS and draft another CB on day 1.

Draft acouple of OG's and OT's and a FAST WR and we're all set.

Is Jimmy single again and bored in the Keys? He could be ideal to give our defense an attitude and make it like the 92-95 group. He could hire bring back Norv/Wanstedd if he wants, I don't care but he will light fire under this group

I like Bob Stoops a lot, but I am dissappointed that he lost in 2 national championship games. When you get to the national championship game, you can't lose. I know somebody got to lose, but we don't want to hire that guy. Especially against USC, his team had no clue, just like our team had no clue against the Saints. So I see some red flags with him

He passed on Ohio State, Florida and the Browns. Being a Youngstown guy if he was going to coach in the NFL, it would be with the Browns. I don't think there is any way he leaves.

So you would rather have Mack Brown, Phil Fulmer, or Larry Coker?
Honestly the only college guy I would consider would be Charlie Weis or Jeff Tedford.

I am all for Cowher. If he got a owner like Jones and signs the best free agents, he could do very well. He was always handicapped with Pittsburg payroll and had to lose very good players year after year.

But most Cowboys fans don't like him as he is the face of the enemy(Steelers)

He grew up a Brown's fan in Youngstown and told them no. I understand what you are trying to say though, Oklahoma completely fell apart against USC, but the LSU game was closer than people remember, they were a touchdown from making it a tie game very late in the fourth quarter when Chuck Long decided to go Air Coryell inside the red zone. Moot point though, what happened to Spurrier and his past passing on other jobs tends to make one think he will stay put.
