Best thing about this game was our coaches showed up big time. I have not said that for a long time. Marinelli had the D line confusing the Giants O line consistently. Richards had the DB’s playing with excellent technigue, especially our CB’s. Linehan played to Dak’s strength. The RPO’s and read options opened things up for Dak and Zek, actually the whole offense. This Giants D is tough. Our O played them pretty smart. Also, Giants O has a ton of talent. We used an excellent blitz package and great run D to slow down their offense. Keep it up coaches!!!

Need that all game though.

Zeke still needs to be involved in the passing game more.

We have something that could be a super bowl ready team, but we need creativity on the offense. Linehan needs to show up or we have to replace him.

You can tell that we could really just throw teams for a loop if we would just keep the playcalling more dynamic but Linehan just isn’t comfortable doing that.

That 2nd series was awesome and Linehan was the reason we got 3 points.

I will tend to agree. However, I feel Linehan should have opened up the offense more in the 1st half with the RPO and even designed roll outs and bootlegs. I also wish they use Zeke more as a passing threat. We just don't use him enough. I still sense that Linehan doesn't want to change things up. Maybe the playbook is just too simple to make any meaningful changes.

I give credit to the defense though. Marinelli/Richard is a great combo.

On the one big play Awuzie gave up, he still had great coverage and the ball was about 2 inches over his hand. Another 3 inches and he knocks it away, another 6 inches and its probably an INT.

I think Marinelli is a great teacher but a average defensive schemer.

We may have a Coordinator now that doesn’t rely on his front 4 and send super predictable blitzes.

Our blitz packages were just awesome tonight. Eli’s Head was spinning.

Our offensive staff crapped their pants when we went up. They went conservative way too early. Defense did a great job.

Now as I said previously, the playcalling in the second and third were eh.

But.

An offense and defense work in unison. Maybe part of the reason we were conservative is we trusted our defense.

When the Seahawks defense was great, they weren’t winning every game 40-6. It was scores like today.

Agree. This was improvement. We definitely need to keep improving. I think we will too.
